Metro 2033 is one such game. For me, the game revived my faith in the FPS genre as a means of successful storytelling, as opposed to the twitch and pop gameplay of the traditional juggernauts of Call of Duty and Halo. Metro 2033 was released in early 2010 Metro 2033 is also unique in that it is a licensed property based off of an award winning book written by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. The rare combination of strong source material and excellent production on the part of 4A Games (which is based in the Ukraine) created the much overlooked Metro 2033.

You will find numerous references to the written version of Metro 2033 throughout the game

The strongest part of the game is undeniably the atmosphere Metro 2033 evokes. You might have played various games set in a post apocalyptic scenario before (games like Fallout and Borderlands come to mind), but none of those games have ever really felt like people were actually living in those situations. Fallout 3 probably came the closest to presenting a realistic approach to a bombed out planet Earth. Metro 2033 leaves them all in the dust right from the beginning. Walking around Moscow’s subway system decades after the war which destroyed humanity you will see families squabbling, children drawing on the floors or walls, faded pictures and posters, radios playing music livestock in pens, beggars, etc. In short, it feels close to what the aftermath of nuclear Armageddon would be like. Enemy soldiers talk, banter, and even tell stories before they become aware of your presence. Metro 2033 is gritty and dark. It truly conveys the sense that humanity is on the verge of dying out and makes you wonder if that is really a bad thing given what humans have done to the world.

The following are examples of environments that look lived in

The atmosphere in Metro 2033 is helped in large part by the graphical presentation which is fairly impressive for a game that was released almost two years ago. The lighting effects are especially nice. There were several moments where I stopped to admire the lighting, most memorably when the light given off by a dead soldier’s headlamp was shining on a nearby wall and the play of shadows across as the fallen soldier’s companions passed his corpse trying to search me out. Unfortunately, animations are not as polished as they could be. This is not to say that they are bad, but they are at times decidedly unnerving. The eyes especially have an eerie, dead-ish look to them that persisted throughout the game. Sometimes animations would not run properly, for example there was a time when one of my companions died in a scripted sequence, but he continued to blink (with his eyes closed) which soiled the moment for me.

The eyes... THE EYES!!!!

Another laudable aspect of Metro 2033 is the gameplay. You might think that with games such as Borderlands and Fallout 3 on the market that developer 4A Games would take a page out of those respective books. Refreshingly, that is not the case. Metro 2033 is best described as a taut survival FPS. Ammo is everything in the dark tunnels of the metro. It is surprisingly easy to find yourself without ammo to fire and if you are not careful you will find yourself down to only your knife and wits. There are many different types of ammo, the most important of which is military grade ammo. It functions as a currency with which you can buy armor, new weapons, more normal ammo, health kits, etc. Additionally, military grade ammo can be used in your guns as a powerful last resort. There is a great variety of weapons available in-game. You have the traditional pistols, automatics, and shotguns as well as more exotic pneumatic, crossbow, and sniping weapons. Every weapon can be upgraded in stores with scopes, silencers, barrel enhancements, and better stocks to improve their functions. The gunplay is satisfying and has a very visceral feel with blood splashing the screen if you are close to your adversaries. Enemy types are mixed up nicely between humans equipped with different weapons and various monster types some of which are genuinely terrifying (i.e. librarians).

One of the best parts about the gameplay was that it left you free to decide how you wanted to tackle some of the larger scenarios, which was unexpected given that Metro 2033 largely takes place in confined subway tunnels. You can go in guns blazing and emerge victorious. However, it is usually more beneficial to use stealth and try to slip past undetected and save your ammo. Stealth is as simple as keeping to the darkness and moving slowly and silently. A light on your watch indicates how visible you are to potential hostiles. Broken glass, hanging cans, tripwire pipe bombs, various traps litter levels that alert enemies to your presence or end your life. To avoid being seen you can shoot out light bulbs and lamps to ensure darkness and make yourself harder to detect (a feature I found myself wishing more games had).

The music and sound design is worth mentioning briefly. It provides the game with an appropriate desperate and gritty soundscape that exudes moodiness. Occasionally you come across radios that play national anthems or chill guitar music. Guns make appropriate gun noises. Enemies scream angrily at you from behind cover. Monsters snarl and knives grate on metal. Towns are full of ambient talking and you can hear different conversations carried on all around you. Going into the overworld of a gas-filled tunnel also has a unique sound effect: breathing. In these sections you must wear a gasmask and the sound of your breathing and the muffled outside noise that these masks creates can get unnerving and add a nice layer of tension. It is quite impressive.

The story follows protagonist Artyom as he makes a daring journey through the subway system battling factions of Nazis and remnants of the Red Army as well as mutated monsters. He is set off to bring a message to the community of Polis requesting aid against an oncoming force of creatures referred to as “the dark ones.” There are actually two different ending depending on different decisions you make throughout the game. Artyom is a very contemplative main character and his narration runs through the entirety of Metro 2033 and manages to bring up a number of philosophical questions to chew on as you play that range from the right to live, right to kill, the nature of war, etc. The game is divided into seven different chapters with various breaks within each chapter during which loading takes place concealed beneath Artyom’s Russian accented narration.

There are a fair amount of bugs in Metro 2033. For starters, keys sometimes get stuck in an active position and you will find yourself constantly moving forward or sideways. At other times you can become the victim of a poorly timed auto-save and get stuck against a particularly hard group of enemies with little or no ammo. In one frustrating instance, the game locked me out of combat options while I was in the middle of battling monsters. Also, some scripted events are contingent on an AI companion being in the right spot and your companion will be stuck elsewhere. Overall, while these were very annoying, they didn’t occur with enough frequency or negative consequences to really detract from my gaming experience.

In closing, Metro 2033 is a great game. In fact, it might be a contender in my list of top ten favorite games of all time. I enjoy games with limited inventory systems and varying enemy types that also let you use other means to pass by enemies other than yelling loud and charging in all guns blazing. I don’t doubt that in the coming months more players will check out 4A’s work with the upcoming Metro: Last Light due to be released in 2012. Hopefully the extra attention will give Metro 2033 a bit more of a chance to shine. Metro 2033 is currently available on Xbox 360 and Windows.

The Breakdown

Concept: Artyom struggles to save the humanity after nuclear holocaust

Art Design: Looks great even a couple years later

Sound: Moody and dark like the rest of the game

Playability: Having to make every bullet count makes every gunfight tense

Replay Value: Medium

Is It Fun?: Yes

Recommended For: People looking for a refreshing FPS experience

Blog Post: Metro 2033: Overlooked Brilliance

  Game: Metro 2033

Genre: FPS, Survival Horror

Console played on: PC

Rating: M

Every once in a while a game will come along with enough guts and balls big enough to slip past my guard and steal my heart from right under my nose, (Don’t ask why it was there, Trust me you don’t want to know.) Metro 2033 is the latest member of those thieves’ heart burglars.

Visuals: Graphics wise, Metro 2033 is fairly pretty looking game (With the exception of a few character models here and there, and the fact that all of the characters tend not to blink that often) but, its aesthetics are what really make it a beautiful game. Everything in the game feels like the apocalypse swept in not too long ago and left the world (or at least your part of it) in shambles. Everything from the environments you go though (like the dark, gloomy and decaying metro system you travel most of your way and the bitter, icy-cold, nuclear winter on the surface), to the people you see in the metro station, to the weapons and items you use, have the feel of an apocalyptic depression to them and not in a gray-brownish kind of way.

Story: Metro 2033 is based off of the Russian book of the same name and while that is cool (And I suddenly have a hankering to read said book) it does leave the game with a few holes in explaining thing. For instance the game doesn’t really explain what the mutated monsters were before the apocalypse or why there’s a war going on in the metro between Communists and Nazis, or even how the Nazis got there all of which I’m guessing was explained in the book.

Gameplay: Starting off the gunplay is very solid; most of the guns in the game feel good to fire (With the exception of Pheumatic weapons which I found to be pretty useless) I did find that regular Iron sights a lot better than the scopes (though that could just be me.) Depending on what difficulty you play it will be either plentiful or not.

The enemies consist of your basic human (I’m fairly sure you’ve heard of them) Opponent to a somewhat wide variety of mutated monsters (By “somewhat” I mean most of them are a grayish color but they form into a bunch of different shapes.)

In the future, this is what librarians look like.

In the game your main source of currency is military grade bullets. You read that right bullets=money… Well kind of. “High grade” ammo is your money; dirt ammo (Basically the crappy quality ammo) is what you use on most enemies. When you get to friendly metro stations you can spend your money ammo on items (gas mask filters, throwing knife, grenades and medkits), Dirt ammo and better weapons. This gives the game some light RPGs elements in a way. Will you spend money on more dirt ammo? Maybe some throwing knifes, a better gun perhaps? Maybe just save it up for the next station. Who knows maybe you’ll find a better weapon later on.

Throughout the game you will also find certain levels that can be completed in a more stealthy way (Most particularly during the “Front Line” mission) and there are routs past enemies but I felt like there’s nothing really to distinguish as the “Stealthy way” to complete said mission and I tended to only find them after I had already killed a bunch of guards.

One thing I absolutely loved was the well thought out items that you use throughout the game. For instance, you want to check your current objectives you press the objectives key and it brings out a note-book and lighter. By pressing the right mouse button/360 trigger you look at your current objectives and by pressing the left button/trigger you flip your lighter on in order to see it better.

Are you about to go to surface? Not without your trusty gasmask you won’t! During surface missions the gasmask provides some extra tension as you keep track of your gauge, filters and how much damage your gasmask takes. Now I never actually ran out of filters since there is always a dead body around I could loot for them and there’s usually a spare gasmask around to replace your damaged one but, I still had the feeling of “am I going to make it to the end?” whenever I went to the surface.

One item I especially liked was the watch. Your watch is kind of the Swiss army knife of the metro. When you put your gas mask on it tells you how much air you have (though I found this to be flawed since it always seemed to be in the red even when I put in new filters to my mask), It comes with three LED lights (Red, yellow and green) which act like the light crystal from Thief and tells you how hidden you are and Last but not least, it tells time. Not in game time but actually time (or you know what ever time you set your computer’s/360’s time to) seriously, it actually acts like a real watch!

Checkpoints could have, no,should have been done frequently. At times I would find myself begging for another one to appear before I got myself killed (Which I knew would be very soon). That’s one of my mains flaws against the game outside of it killing off most of the characters before I got to know them more.

Final Thoughts: Metro 2033 has impressed me, which, isn’t an entirely easy thing to do. The game has its flaws such as: it could do with some more frequent checkpoints and the main storyline had a few holes when it comes to explaining some things but it’s the best example, I’ve seen, of elements in game telling a much grander story than the story in game.

Blog Post: A straightforward, but innovative journey.

Amidst the high-profile games with loads of game modes and heavy marketing material, a unique game will occasionally come along and show surprising skill and polish only found by those willing to look. I started off relatively interested in Metro 2033, even before I began playing. I read reviews detailing the atmospheric style and the masterful control of the linear story and was instantly on my way to trying it out, seeing as few single-path games are done in a professional manner.

From images and videos, one can see that the world of Metro 2033, as well as the adventure, stays mostly in within the confines of the tunnel systems for which the game is named. All but a few missions take place underground, where the survivors of an unnamed disaster built towns within the dark subway stations in hopes of avoiding the mutated creatures above, albeit unsuccessfully. However, despite the constant movement through tunnels more-or-less the same, the characters (or creatures) around you help bring focus, as do the well placed pieces of action that take place between them.

Creatures are a prime piece of the "bring-in" factor, at least for me. There are a multitude of creatures and, though they all have the same attack strategy, they all have unique and beilievable designs. I played through on normal difficulty the first time and found that the monsters stalking the tunnels and streets of Moscow do have a bite even worse than their bark. Each bout with the mutants was a challenge and, later on, became a true test for survival.

However, the most mysterious and dangerous enemy are seen within the protagonists odd hallucinations, simply called the Dark Ones. The beasts are described as being a higher species capable of surpassing humans and, as such, are the prime antagonists of the story. I won't say much else on the story, but the ending sequence involving the final confrontation with these creatures is one of the most interesting and impressive looking finales i've seen recently.

On my list of problems or criticizing comments, I have few. The most prominent is the purchasing of ammo with more ammo. Sorry, but i didn't have a tough choice picking between one 'money' bullet and 5 'killing' bullets. While it is a understandable choice, given the lack of money found within a post-apocalyptic world, I found it useless.

Overall, the journey taken throughout the Metro, with a few breaths of fresh air above, was a magnificent adventure that I will remember for a while. The believability of the world and the mechanics within the game were well done and easily understandable. Unfortunately, after completion of the story, there isn't much to do. No multiplay, co-op, or extra stuff avaliable. While this left me with no way to enjoy Metro 2033 more, I do not regret the decision to focus on the well-done story mode. I would like to simply recommend readers to rent this game, but the fleshed out characters and single-player are enough to make me want to buy it.

Wiki: Metro 2033 Guides

Guides for Metro 2033

Blog Post: Metro is a fun ride - with a good bargain

With the recent releases of numerous FPS games, its hard to consider whats good and whats not these days. Rather than looking for a fun experience, many gamers look for that edgy feel and multiplayer accessibility. Though Metro 2033 does not match the standards of Call of Duty or Battlefield, it remains a fun game to play as its own genre.

I bought the game recently for a very low price (8 bucks to be exact) and felt that it was worth every penny. With a survivalist feel to the game and the 'end-of-the-world' atmosphere, Metro immerses us into a world filled with mutated monsters and bandits. The shooting feels exactly what you'd expect albeit a bit tough to get used to. Weapon variety is very low compared to other games, but every single one is useful in your fight. That's probably because bullets are scarce.

Other than the FPS segments, there are occasional RPG-like segments as well. Towns and hubs are frequently visited and you can trade/sell items there.

What really kills the game however are the stealth segments. You can't always run-and-gun everytime and stealth segments are placed just to fill in the gaps between. It's just a mere test of patience. There is also the constant need to salvage items and exploration of your surroundings, which also can cut into the already mentioned stealth segment. Though salvaging and exploration offer great rewards, it's almost hard to see where you're going with the rough lighting and gloomy textures, which properly adds to the horror of the Apocalypse.

Metro 2033 is a fun game that deviates itself from other FPS titles. The experience is slow at first but will pick up later on. Get it now for a hefty low price!

Wiki Page: Metro 2033 Brief Overview Guide

Metro is an immersing FPS that is created after the best selling Russian novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky with the same namesake and developed by 4A Games and published by THQ. The story goes on after a nuclear incident in and around Russia, causing the surface to be unlivable due to the toxic radiation. Always striving for survival, the people take refuge in the immense underground metro tunnels. It could be guessed that life isn't all that simple underground as mutated creatures make every life hell; Added on top of juxtaposed ideologies of the "Reds" and "Nazis".

You take the reins as Artyom. A silent protagonist youth going through the motions of metro life because that's all he knows. Born and raised in the metro, Artyom only characterization of his want for the surface is his postcard collection and the hint of his voice at the chapter monologue. This part of his life is uprooted when he is entrusted a task to deliver a message if the first person is never heard from.

The metro is filled with danger and traps. This guide is just a simple overview of tips that might help in the end.

Currency: Bullets, Pre-war 5.56 rifle ammunition, are used for purchasing crap ammo, supplies, weapons, and weapon attachments. Careful as with an extended press of the reload button, you could be using money to add a few more holes to the charging Nosalis rather than cheap after-war ammo.Weapons:

Weapons: The effectiveness of each weapon is defined by their characteristics. Longer barrels on the revolver equals increased accuracy, while silencer means less damage but much quieter. Another point to know that all weapons are the same in the sense that there is no weapon degradation. Choose the weapon of your preference. All AK-47's shoot like AK-47's, only modifications matter (but get the AK, it's a great weapon).

Patience: Not only for the immersion, but on the firefights against other humans that you encounter. It could take over a minute for your heart to stop pumping and your health to regenerate, unless you use a health syrette, but these are in short supply. Don't worry so much about enemies rushing you. They do this rarely, they like their cover just as much as you should.

Stealth is optional!: The stealth mechanics of the Metro are sub-par. Miss an enemy with a throwing knife and they will all be alerted instantly and the one you missed will begin shooting at your exact position. After the initial alert, the only way to go on is to restart at the checkpoint. One of the good things about Metro is the fact that stealth is not required and it's completely possible to blast your way through guns blazing. Not to say it isn't possible for I've done it. I will make a specific guide on the stealth aspects if requested.

Explore: the game may be linear, but it has a few branching side paths that may reveal ammo, weapons, and other set-piece moments not found on the beaten path. Make sure to get real close and listen to the pipes...

A few more quick tips

1. Wear headphones or use surround sound.

2. Pay attention to your accuracy in the begging shooting range. Not every weapon shoots strait.

3. Never forget to charge your battery's or pump your pneumatic weapons. This is life or death here.

4. Respond to this guide if you want more. This will greatly improve the enjoyment of the game. 30-day money back guarantee!

Blog Post: Astonishing atmosphere

This game did everything absolutely right in creating a believable world with a dark atmosphere. Using bullets for money making you choose between using them to kill your next foe or to buy your next weapon, having to use a gas mask when you are on the surface forcing you to look for gasmask filters to survive, the mix of human foes and deadly beasts and the absolutely beautiful graphics make this game a must play.

I also enjoyed the way the story was told as a flashback and in chapters (probably like in the book)

Blog Post: Gotta play it to judge it...

The game was better than I expected and had a lot of play time too. One of the scariest games I have played in a while too. I loved the save points too. Never to far back to start all over but enough back to get achievements. Only downside is chrging your flashlight and hearing Artyom breathe in a gas mask. Graphics could have been better above ground, but were awesome below ground.

Blog Post: Oh well

Weep for what could have been. This game had so much promise, but, as you have already guessed, it failed to live up to it. Some game mechanics, such as charging your flashlight, pumping your pneumatic sniper rifle, shooting in a straight line, and walking, work perfectly fine, and add a bit of micromanagement to your FPS (if you enjoy that sort of thing). Others, however, are simply unnecessary. Russia's bullet based economy (Which, as you know, is doing splendidlly in real life) serve no purpose other than to hand over your extremely rare and perfectly good bullets for a mediocre gun, but, oh wait, you don't have any of the good kind of bullets left, so, yeah, you got screwed over in that deal. Time and time again, I would see an intriguing-looking weapon lying on a merchant's table in one of the three-or-so inhabited stations stretched at uneven throughout the linear story, and instead of keeping my perfectly good double-barreled shotgun, I would trade it in. Later on, I would discover that, in battle, my new investment was useless, and quickly pick up the next shotgun I saw. By the time I finally figured out that all weapons other than the shotgun suck, the game stopped throwing trading posts at me and told me to go *** myself, because I was not a savvy consumer (I did pay for this game, after all). Another failed mechanic, the gas-mask, is useless because you will always have enough time and enough air filters. None of the segments with poisonous gas are long enough to ever merit more than one change of a filter.

But the game is not just bad because it has a bit of loose gameplay flopping hopelessly behind it. Indeed, If it was just these issues, it would be a passable, and creatively immersive FPS. The problem is mostly the story line. How can a bad story line ruin a game, you ask? It's not that the story is bad. In fact, I went on the Wikipedia article for this game and found out that it is quite interesting. But as I was playing the game, I was completely unaware of this. I had no idea what was happening or why. I had a vague notion that I was saving my home station from monsters, but then Nazis and missiles and floating balls of lightning and ghosts and pustulent tentacled abominations got mixed up in it, and I suddenly was completely lost. The game ignored my cries for help, though, and decided to slavishly adhere to the story as if it made any sense to the player. This is where the greatest problem lies. This game is really scripted. Not Half-Life scripted, where something happens and a relevant action sequence begins, but more like the developers actually wrote a movie-like script that included everything that was supposed to happen in the game, including the player actions. The combat to advancing-the-plot ration is about 1:1. I could see this sort of thing working in the book from which this game is derived, but this is not a book, it is a game, and as such, it should have fun, coherent gameplay that only lets the story in when it would benefit the audience. Although the level designs are beautiful you never get to explore them, because if you stray too far from your teammate, it is more than likely that you will get your face scraped off by some horrific ghoul that is immune to bullets (the enemies in this game have an amazing appetite for lead). Frequently, the developers will introduce some new game element, the rules of which are not fully explained. As a result, you will spend a lot of trial and error on some segments, hearing the same single lines of dialogue over and over as the camera flails about wildly and the screen fades to red, signifying that, once again, you have died a grisly and stupid death. Near the end, it actually includes quick-time events. In conclusion, I highly recommend the book, based on what I read of the story on Wikipedia, but don't bother with the game. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it could have been one of the best.

Blog Post: THis game is completely awful. You have all lost it.

When I first heard about Metro 2033, I was extremely exited. I had been waiting for my post apocalyptic dreamland, and this seemed to be it. Too bad the game sucks. It is full of glitches, the graphics are god awful(that is a little harsh, they are only bad if you've been playing games such as Assassin's Creed 2 for weeks.) This game would have rocked in 2008.

The only redeeming quality about this game is the story. I am sure the novel, upon which the game is based, is great. But the missions are bland, the enemies boring, and quite frankly, not scary. The game had so much promise. There was so much to work with, atmosphere could have been horrifying, but somehow it just came up short.

The weapons were so disappointing I could cry. The homemade feel was sort of cool, and definitely realistic, but THQ failed to go anywhere with them. They are all pretty bad, and if they aren't there is hardly any ammo for them.

Probably the most disappointing thing in the entire game is the AI. When you fight the various monsters and bandits throughout the game, not only are they boring, but they are stupid. here are instances where I could walk my character right up to a bandit and it will do absolutely nothing. It would not shoot me! Whenever the main character got a partner, he would not do anything! Sometimes a glitch would put my partner with his nose in the corner for an entire battle. I would end up having to use up valuable ammo (as ammo is barely given throughout a mission) to fend of a hoard of enemies.

Please rent this game. Do not buy it. If you like it I will eat my hat. Game Informer, why? Why did this and Splinter Cell: Conviction get the same rating?

Forum Post: Do you like it?

I love the game for the most part... On your first mission you will be breathless and then the in game reality sets in...This is no play ground, this is a dangerouse world. You will go from one station from another in the tunnels looking over your sholder and getting goose bumps. At first the game seemed to be far------------------ too intense but adjust some control settings and you'll be on your way to shooting up some beasts out of this world. Get the game, throw it in your game counsel and game on.

Blog Post: Not what I had expected.

The Stalker series, has become one of my all time favorite videogame series ever. The gritty feel to it, is reminiscent of fallout 3, but ironically enough, feels like it takes place farther in the future, mainly due to the weapons. When I heard that Metro was a new game made by some of the Stalker visionaries, I knew i had to get it.

Sadly, this game wasn't what i expected it to be. Do not misunderstand me, this game is brilliant, but it doesn't feel right. Weapons in this game, are almost an enemy, they constantly use up your precious ammo, and they don't feel like they do much. Throughout the game, I found that my favorite and best weapon, was the standard revolver. You get an AK 47 about a third of the way in, and it feels weak beyond belief. Then you cross over into stealth sections, that involve you making use of your throwing knives, but once the guard you've been aiming at for a solid 2 minutes, and spent 3 knives trying to hit, finally catches onto your location...YOUR SCREWED. Not as far as taking out all of the enemies, but stealthily making your way out without fighting all of them. I was also at dismay to the fact that it wasn't open world.

I hope that if you play this game you like it. This review may be very one sided, but i love this game. It packs a great atmosphere, and is a great addition to the Xbox library.

Blog Post: A Sleeper Hit! It's AWESOME!!!!

Forget all that other crap for now Metro 2033 is where it is this game will hook you worse than heroin and take you on a rollercoaster ride to remember. I loved it from beginning to end and as a PS3/PC gamer it's graphics impressed even me! This is because of their astonishing detail, excellent lighting and surprising smoothness. It's load times where the shortest I've seen outside of PC and the story OMG just plain awesomeness. The controls are akin to Call of Duty, and the voice acting is great (though not spectacular) However, I found that if you go to options and change the voice language to Russian and put English subtitles it gives the game an atmosphere so authentic that i felt as though i where watching a really awesome foreign film! As for what it says in the review about adjusting the controls not necessary I found it to be just fine as it is and not to mention useful for when you got those creatures surrounding you as it allows for quicker reaction time, it's really all in how you you move the analog stick if you want precision push it slightly if you want to turn around push it all the way see easy . Overall The game is top notch and a must play for any X-box360 and PC gamer get your butt down to your local game store and buy it!

Blog Post: good game

i think its a great game

Blog Post: Definatly a sleeper hit

Although i rented this game i played through it twice. I thought that the game is a sleeper hit but it was great. The horror was kept to a minimum but there were creepy parts too. Like Infinity Ward, they also kill off their characters in shocking moments. Butt he plot was awesome as were the characters. Butt he thing that sold me on this game was the immersivness. Having to multitask was a great time your fighting mutants and your flashlight dies you have to pump power back to it. Having to watch your ammo count. Trading posts are rare and you must buy and spend wisely as the ammo is your currency too. It was a really neat game the everyone should try out!

Blog Post: poop

yee son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blog Post: Not a review, a comment

This is a comment not a review because I have not played Metro yet but I was looking forward to it.
