The lights are on
While a demo of Hideo Kojima's latest entry in the Metal Gear Solid franchise has already been released, it won't help many of us in terms of filling out the saga of Big Boss. You see, the MGS series is particularly heavy on plot, and a good number of us here in the States don't happen to speak Japanese. It seems the fine folks at Kojima Productions realize this, as an English language version of the Peace Walker demo will soon be available. The news broke on the Kojima Productions podcast, although no specific release date has been announced. We might not yet know for sure when to expect it, but the podcast promises that the gruff vocals of David Hayter will be coming out of your PSP speakers "soon."

i wish this was on consoles since i hate playing MGS on the PSP (thanks to Portable Ops which had terrible controls). i don't think the story will suffer like PO but i'll wait until it is ported to the PS360 (i remember an article that Kojima wanted to port over PW in the future).
It would be a good move if they ported this game over to the PS3 or the 360 because definitly a lot more people would play it. Not every metal gear fan has a PSP. And, Portable OPs didnt really do the series that well in the handheld department.
These are the times when I wish I had a PSP... :-(
this is gonna be great. I would love to play the demo and wait for the game so my buddies and I can do Co-op missions...
I can't wait to download it and play -- Peace Walker looks like a solid title for the PSP.
It great to see that we are getting a demo in english cause I can't understand or read Japanese to save my life which made the demo hard to play for me.
There's rumor that this'll be ported to consoles, any truth to that?

I can't wait for this to come out! I'm new to the MGS series and I actually started with Portable Ops even though I have the original Metal Gear Solid for PSOne. Long live Snake!

MGS FOR ME IT´S ONE OF BEST GAMES EVER WITH ONE OF SICKEST STORY LINES TO SEE THE NEW GAME PEACE WALKER FOR THE PSP ITS GREAT. NOT ONLY THE GAME LOOKS GOORD BUT TO SEE THE DEMO COMING IN ENGLISH VERSION A LOT OF PEOPLE INCLUDING MYSELF ARE GONNA ENJOY IT CAUSE THE JAPANESE WAS A PAIN SO CAN´T WAIT FOR THE DEMO IN ENGLISH VERSION MY PREDICTION FOR IT THE GAME ITS GONNA ROCK FOR PSP.
