Medal Of Honor Warfighter Trailer Highlights Tale Of Sacrifice, Explosions

Medal of Honor Warfighter's hero, Preacher, has endured a lot as a tier-1 operative. Judging from this new trailer, it looks as though thing aren't going to be changing for him anytime soon.

The new installment in the series aims to tell a story based on actual events while remaining fun to play. It's a difficult balance, and we'll have to wait and see if developer Danger Close pulls it off.

Look for the game on PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360 on October 23. In the meantime, check out our multiplayer hands-on impressions.

  • The anticipation grows...

  • I think that EA or whoever is in charge of the Frostbite engine needs to use it on something besides military shooters. This still looks good, but I'm getting sick of military FPS games.
  • YES!
  • I think this is the year that I am finally going to pick up a COD game instead of an EA game. I didn't care much for the 2010 MOH and so far Warfighter hasn't really sparked an interest. Maybe a rental if I hear good things about it after release.
  • Good video like MOH Limited...Go back to WWII EA!
  • Looking good

  • Im liking the look of the new story. Can't wait to play as Preacher, and also can't help but wonder if they will mention Rabbit in the new game.
  • I really miss good games.
  • in my opinion they should just stop making medal of honor games. This could be a battlefield or a new IP.
  • boom
  • Looks great

  • Wow, sure does look pretty on the super high powered PC that they captured all that footage from. Too bad 90% of gamers who buy and play this game on consoles won't get a quarter of that richness. Seems a bit sneaky to try and pass off PC footage as footage for all versions, but everyone does that, don't they? Other than the pretty graphics, it looks like just another shooter that I'll ignore while enjoying games that don't all look alike.
  • That video was great. Very cinematic.
  • DAMN!!! Those graphics look AMAZING....for a shooter! I still say PS3 in house games have some of the best graphics though console wise!
  • This game looks great, but isn't it funny that if you pre-order it, you get access to the Battlefield 4 beta? Aren't they similar games? (If you look at the graphics and the shooting mechanics). I hope they don't go the CoD route and release a game every year (MoH one year and Battlefield the next).
  • Sooooooo stoked :D It's been strange to feel my own anticipation for Warfighter increase over the months... I wasn't a fan of the first (reboot) entry, but for some reason Warfighter has always had me by the throat. Taking Frostbite 2 a step beyond even Battlefield 3 in many areas (except environment scale), captivating pre-rendered scenes and the whole idea of shifting the spotlight to so many different Special Forces from around the globe is just a recipe for greatness.

Or wait, I guess we're all supposed to chime in here about the popularity of military shooters being the downfall of gaming and what not right?
  •  Frostbite engine!  Love it.  EA will eventually trump COD sales with it's ability to create a more real, strategic war FPS multiplayer experience.  Bravo!

  • I don't know about you guys but I personally can't wait for this game.
  • I was originally against it, but this is actually shaping up quite well.
