The lights are on
Medal of Honor is a good game, but not great. My biggest complaint is the difference between engines from the single player, which uses Unreal engine 3, and the multiplayer, which uses DICE's Frostbite engine. If they had used the Frostbite engine for the campaign, It probably would have improved the game a lot. The Unreal Engine in the campaign feels dated and not as solid, while the Frostbite feels fresh and seems to have a higher frame rate. Other than that, the campaign's story was mediocre at best, but does nothing new and has only a few interesting moments that I payed attention to. However the multiplayer is redeeming enough to save for the campaign
I agree the difference between the single-player and multi-player engines is quite an annoying thing. I'll be playing MP then switch to SP and it is like I took out Medal of Honor and put another, less exciting (can't think of the right word at the moment) game. I do though like the SP's leaning mechanic.
