First things first: overall, this is a ridiculously fun game. its gameplay is near perfect, as are the graphics and sound. However, the original ending left much to be desired. It did not bring any sort of closure, did not tie up any loose ends, and overall, ruined the experience for me by tainting my memory of the game itself. However, the Mass Effect extended cut DLC, which is free, has been released, and bring much more closure and finality to the game, actually answering questions like, 'Now what happens? What happens to the galaxy now? Now that I did all this what does it mean?' However, the original ending still taint my experience of the game. I would recommend downloading the extended cut BEFORE playing the game.
