Mass Effect 3 Wii U Trailer

Picking up a Wii U this month and hankering for more Mass Effect? Here's a new trailer for Mass Effect 3 on Wii U showing off some of the uses with the Game Pad. The game arrives in stores November 13, but of course you won't be able to play it until you buy a Wii U the following Sunday.

  • Well this looks promising. I hope the Wii U outperforms the Wii extremely. I bought my Wii and didn't touch it after a year, however, with game mechanics like that I am sure once I get a Wii U it won't be forgotten.
  • I'm on the fence about this. I played the original on the 360. I would like to continue my game to the second and then the third, but I just don't have the time. I could get the Wii U version, which I think would be good what with controlling your team with the touch screen and all, but I would miss out on experiencing the second game. I know it has the two games included in comic book form, but that doesn't seem like it would be as involved. But I also don't have the time so it would be nice to skip the second game. Also my 360 rarely works so I might not be able to finish the series on it anyways. Decisions decisions.
  • oooh~ awesome for wii u

  • I gotta be honest, all these "exclusive" features could have been rather easily implemented into the PC version. Yes it would have required the game pausing for a moment, but most people paused to order squadmates anyway.
  • Wow. They actually showed a bit from the ending in the trailer. Wonder if anyone else caught that?

Anyways, I'll be buying again. Complete and total MS fanboy.

  • I wonder, how many people will get killed because they were staring at the controller and not at the people shooting them :)
  • Still my favorite game of the year.

  • Hope it holds up well on the WiiU!

  • "In stores 11/13/12"? So it's not a Wii U launch title at all?
  • Some of the uses of the gamepad? I saw one thing, which looked like switching guns. Oh and he drew some kind of line on the map...maybe that was telling a team member to go to that position. Eh, could be cool. Oh, and I like the quote from Nintendo Power saying it's the definitive version of the game. You review Nintendo games! That sounds more like a quote that should come from a multi-console magazine.
  • I'm starting to lose sleep waiting for my Wii U to be in my possession. I think the Wii U is going to blow people's minds.

  • How are u supposed to import previous game versions? Is there going to be another dark horse comic or some *** like that?

I'm not really interested in using a Game Pad for Mass Effect 3 (or playing it on Wii U at all, to be honest), but I am interested in seeing how it performs. Should be a good test of the Wii U hardware.
  • Can't wait to play old games.
  • Why not to buy this game, or a Wii U.
  • Spoiler Warning: The ending is still terrible.

  • It's interesting how the game comes out before the system.

  • "Mass Effect 3 Is very deep, strategic, and rewarding." Best joke I've heard all day.
  • Another game that im going to buys.
