To be honest, this game was amazing. I loved what they did with it, from the improvements made to taking out alot of the clunky junk that used to make the game a pain. But my problem is the lack of romance in the story. Well, not the romance, but the options. It honestly feels like they failed in making a new and better romance story for the game, plus one really annoying aspect is the inability to keep going with your romance of whatever character you had back in the original game.
I was definitely frusturated about not being able to keep my relationship with Kaiden, but A character I was in love with in the first game had relationship options this time around so I stopped caring.
Grrrr when do the romance options pop up , maybe I' m being dense but the only one I've had any kind of success with is Jacob ( he agreed to see where it might go ) . Not really interested in pursuing that one , just wanted to see if it was possible . Any suggestions?
And yea Kaiden dropped my female Shepard like she had space herpes when I told him I worked for cerberus , thats ok though I never liked that p**sy , wish I had killed him instead of Ashley .
As much as I wanted the regular love interest with ashley and miranda, I can never pass up a hot alien chick.
Tali has a hilarious line about having to do some ...... "repairs" before they can be togather. Just thinking about it made me lmao. Really, she must have some serious "freshness" issues wearing that suit all day.
I know what you mean, but you need to think deeper about it. In the game, I am Commander Shepard. His/her feelings are MY feelings. It's true that I wish I could still be with Liara, but isn't that what they were aiming for? The adorable picture of her in my cabin emphasizes the relationship we had together. It adds an aspect of drama to the already incredibility articulate storyline. But the Normandy was destroyed and Shepard I died. How do you think she felt about that? Probably not too crippling being asari and all, but still really sad. Two years passed, she moved on with her life, and Shepard I will just have to deal with that and do the same. On top of all that, I have a galaxy to save.
Everything happens for a reason. The game writers know that. Everyone has their own feelings on things. This is an incredible game with microscopic like depth, and a epic story.
Kaiden seemed so Repulsed that i teamed up with Cerberus. Its ok i didnt like him that much but it woulda been funny if u coulda ended up with a kid if u didnt use protection. LOL. but they didnt add that in. This time around i romanced jacob (its funny how shepard got buzy fully clothed. maybe she coulda been in a bra or something.) Im not sure if i could romance Garrus but he is my fav character.

I romanced Garrus , some of the dialogue was pretty funny actually . Towards the end I happened to be talking to Mordin , and out of the blue he say's " ...if ingested fluids could cause anaphylactic shock , recommend you do not ..ahem ..ingest ". I was rolling it was so funny .
You know, considering there's a third game that's supposed to come out, maybe all those romances will pop up again. Maybe if you were with Ashley or Kaiden in the first, they get pissed off at you in the second, but depending on your choices in the second, they might like you again. Kaiden got pissed with my sister's character but then sent this message about maybe when Shepard is done with Cerberus they can get back together blah blah blah...but then she kinda went for Jacob soo as the saying goes...
Uh..my point is, Bioware might just be setting it all up for the third. I know with me I'm kinda curious to see how Liara might react when she finds out I got with Tali on my Shepard..heh...
You do realize that you can keep up with your romance from the first game, right? One of my characters is with Miranda, one is with Tali, and one is still with Liara...
