The lights are on
Paradox Interactive's Magicka: Wizard Wars is a free-to-play online game with a focus on crazy, goofy PvP action. While the PC title was previously available for Steam Early Access, the open beta now blows open the doors for more players to hop in and reduce one another to bloody pulps.
To mark the occasion, Paradox Interactive has released a new trailer complete with new snippets of gameplay. See if you can hear the Trololo guy's creepy laugh and share any other Easter eggs you uncover in the comments below.
Magicka: Wizard Wars focuses on four-on-four, magic-infused competitive matches, along with one-on-one battles. New content for the open beta includes a new map, a magic spell that raises the dead, and new ways to customize your wizard.
Head over to Paradox Interactive to learn more. You can also click this link to enter the beta, where you'll be prompted to purchase one of three starter packs. The starter packs range from $14.99 to $49.99 and offer you varying amounts of starter gear, equipment, and in-game currency to spend.

It's hardly open access when you have to pay to get access as of right now...
I hope more people start to play this game, it's pretty as of now but you can barely find a server.
