Mafia III
Prepare to tear down the Italian mob in faux New Orleans this fall. Today 2K Games and developer Hangar 13 revealed an October 7 release date for the next installment in the organized crime series.
The publisher also dropped a new trailer that gives you more insight into why Vietnam vet Lincoln Clay has a serious vendetta against mob boss Sal Marcano. The trailer also reveals the name of the faux New Orleans setting. Keeping with the Mafia theme of creation fictionalized versions of American settings, New Orleans goes by the name New Bordeaux. 2K Games also announced three editions of the game are available for pre-order starting today. The Deluxe edition ($79.99) comes with the game and a season pass for downloadable content that has yet to be outlined. The Collector's Edition ($149.99) comes with the season pass as well as a collectable art book, art prints, and a vinyl copy of the original game score.
