Mafia II: The ups and downs.

Lets start here, Mafia 2 is great. Beautiful structure, Awesome looking character models, Great cars, etc....

Concept:

Vito Scarletta, an italian man who moved to the city of empire bay (wich is Mafias version of New York). At the beggining of the game your comming back from the military, visit your friend, go to your family and thats the beggining. Whats trying to say is that it has a...... kiiii...nda slow beggining. But once you about..... lets say 10 minutes into it.... WOW!! But once you get pretty far into it it feels VERY repetitive. Drive to Joes, shoot people, drive around and crap, maybe talk to someone, and then shoot more people. But it is fun to look back on levels and kinda say "Hey! Holy crap that was fun!".

Graphics:

The graphics are up to date, the buildings are beautiful, the characters are recycled but cool. Its always fun to see new cars when walk around. After awhile though.....Everything looks repetitive. ITs really fun to have vito try different clothes on. And did I mention the animation is 10/10!

Sound:

Terrific voicework for Joe, OK voicework for Vito. I know this might be obvious but its REALLY annoying to hear a bunch of cops chasing you and 20 people shooting at you at once. The gun sound sounds like its comming out your door.

Replay Value:

High.
