Developer Animation Arts announced today that Lost Horizon 2 will arrive on PC this fall.

For those without prior knowledge of this upcoming title, Lost Horizon 2 is a narrative-driven point-and-click adventure game starring British smuggler Fenton Paddock. The game takes place in the 1940s and onward, allowing players to explore several exotic locations from long ago. Although Lost Horizon 2 picks up where the first game left off, studio lead Marco Zuegner stresses "both historical fans of the titles and new fans alike will love Lost Horizon 2."

The original Lost Horizon released in 2010, garnering praise for its Indiana Jones-style story, charming graphics, and attention to detail. The sequel expands upon this formula, offering more content as well as transitioning from 2D to 3D.

Lost Horizon 2 launches for PC on October 2 of this year. Deep Silver has not yet revealed a price point, but the game's predecessor was $9.99 when it first released. For a closer look at Lost Horizon 2, check out the screens below.
