The lights are on
Lone Survivor, the pixelated PC indie horror success, is available today on PlayStation 3 and Vita.
The game's creator, Jasper Byrne, shared a launch trailer for the game's PS3/Vita director's cut as well as a few details about the game's re-release. Apparently, Byrne's original intention was to create a straight-forward port of the PC version of the game, but decided to use the opportunity to add new features, tweak certain aspects like the lighting, and even fix a few bugs that, "800,000+ people who own the game had hadn’t yet reported!" Byrne said in a post on his website.
Byrne also promised that the director's cut of the game is not a PlayStation 3 and Vita exclusive, and will be heading to the PC whenever he gets a chance to work on it.
Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut is a Cross Buy and Save title, and it is available now.
