The lights are on
Warner Interactive announced that Lego the Hobbit was in development late last month, and now they've released a trailer packed with in-game footage. Check it out to see footage of trolls, goblins, orcs, and, of course, a few pigs.
Lego the Hobbit uses audio from Peter Jackson's films, including the voice acting from the films' cast. They used the same technique to great effect in last year's Lego Lord of the Rings. While The Hobbit will be a trilogy in theaters, however, the Lego game will only cover the events from the first two films, including the recently released The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
Look for Lego the Hobbit on PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, 3DS, and Vita in 2014.

Lol you gotta give it to Warner Bros... They release (most) Lego games on all platforms.
Stop...just stop already!
This should be good
I'm just going to wait till they re-release it with all the movies included.
Hmm. . . don't care that they didn't include the third movie (Not like I think that'll be worthwhile to the story anyhow. . . ), but I just fear that they'll pull a Lego Indiana Jones 2 on us and do a stupid rehash of the first 2 movies all over again. Hopefully if they do have the last movie covered, it'll just be standalone.
I love that they use the audio from the movies now! I can't wait to listen to all the dwarves again but in Lego style!
This looks like one of the best Lego video games I've ever seen. Although I wish they could just make a Hobbit video game that's not Lego...
My kiddish side comes when I see a lego game launch in the market. Amazing feeling.
