L.A. Noire
It's hard to believe that L.A. Noire is almost here. It's been over a year since we brought you the first details on the game in our cover story, and the hype has been steadily building ever since.
Even though the game is from Rockstar, don't expect L.A. Noire to play like a 1940's era Grand Theft Auto. Instead, players will be participating in methodical police work, interviewing suspects and scouring crime scenes for clues. Interrogations are made much easier thanks to the game's impressive facial-capture technology. As you can see in the trailer below, actors' performances were captured in stunning detail, allowing players to intuitively tell when the people they're talking to in the game aren't being completely honest.
The game is being released May 17 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
