The lights are on
L.A. Noire is one of the most anticipated games of 2011, thanks in no small part to the amazing facial animation capture technology that was created for the the by developer Team Bondi and its sister company Depth Analysis. Now, Rockstar has released this new video, which goes into greater detail on how the process works. It's pretty cool, and is helping L.A. Noire create some of the most believable video game characters to date. For more on the process, read our cover story on L.A. Noire.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how the game turns out. That facial capture stuff is amazing
holy crap! rockstar just keeps pumping out new technologies and gameplay we havent seen before. looks like this will be yet another rockstar masterpiece.
This game is awesome. Also rockstar is just publishing this game. Team bondi are the ones who are developing it. So stop giving all the credits to rockstar, even tho they are awesome
wow. i am speechless. that animation is incredible
Wow, if we can make something as superbly detailed as this for this console generation then I can't even fathom the thought of how good games will be when the next generation of consoles comes along.
This technology NEEDS to be in Mass Effect 3!
...that is way too creepy.
Well im pretty amazed, i could have sworn that some of those clips where real life. look forwards to the game and rock-stars future
I showed a guy at work part of that clip and at first he thought it was a real person...that is awesome!!!
This is amazing technology! I loved this video, seeing how it works and how it all comes together. I would also love to see how the new tech from Quantic Dream also works.
I wonder if this new tech will catch on in the future
