Check Out Kingdoms Of Amalur's Flexible Combat In New Trailer

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning lets players explore their inner wizard, archer, or warrior as they beat down monsters in a magical land. If you don't want to go all-in in one of those three disciplines, fear not; players can blend components from all three major roles, as you can see in this new trailer.

Look for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning on the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 on February 7. For more on the game, check out our recent video preview, in which we play with the game's producer for nearly an hour.

  • Looks cool, but TBH looks very generic.
  • Looking good so far.

  • Maybe I'll get this, because I'm getting bored of Skyrims repetitiveness.
  • fantastic.  ill probably still be burnt out on skyrim once its released and i'm past my days of being an rpg junkie.  maybe a summer or fall buy depending on releases at those times.

  • I have a lot of hope for this game. It is looking better and better all the time!

  • This game looks so insanely epic it just absolutely blows my mind! Fighting looks fantastic, and the colors and lighting looks beautiful.

  • Those are some impressive moves they have going on in this video. The game looks as good as ever too.

  • The more and more I see of this game, the more and more I enjoy it and get excited. I can't wait to pick this up in Feb!

  • And it's looking sweet btw!
  • I've been on the fence with Kingdoms of Amalur, honestly tipping towards non-interest... you know, animation variation and quality like this speaks volumes about a games end quality. Has me rethinking...
  • I'll probably buy it,but I don't like how npcs seem to be so boring. They just seem to stand there talking without much, or any emotion at all. I'm talking about the animation, not the voice acting.

  • I've got my 200$ collector's edition pre-ordered. I'm stocked for this game!
  • The art style just doesn't grab me... Combat looks fun enough, but it reminds me of WoW a little too much. With games like Dark Souls and Skyrim out, I just prefer a darker, more realistic art style. Darksiders II is more appealing to me at this point.

However, it does have potential, so I'll keep my eye on it.
  • look kool

  • Th game look really fun. Maybe I'll rent it first

  • HD new version of Fable. and it looks not that bad! it looks like what Fable did and what Fable wanted to keep doing but more updated, das all!
  • Im still anxiously awaiting this game

  • I have been following this game for a while, and I seriously want this right now.
  • I don't normally like RPGs, but this one has piqued my interest.  The stealth weapons and the cicular frisbee blades (can't remember the name) look especially cool.

  • Looks like what Fable should have evolved into.
