Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is attempting to bridge some of the gaps, as shown in the opening cinematic of Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep–A Fragmentary Passage.
It follows Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep protagonist Aqua and her stay in the Realm of Darkness. This cinematic shows her journey, albeit in a way that isn't the most apparent for people not immediately familiar to the franchise's complicated lore. Still, there's Mickey Mouse, Sora's hand, and a great remix of Simple and Clean, the series' iconic song.
Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue comes out on January 24 on PS4. This collection contains a remastered version of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance; Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, a purely cinematic story set around the Foretellers; and Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep–A Fragmentary Passage, a new story that takes place after Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.
