The lights are on
For many, a Kinect Star Wars game is all they've wanted from the
peripheral. LucasArts and developer Terminal Reality will show the game
at E3, and here's your first glimpse.
Entertainment Weekly has the exclusive video of the game's E3 trailer, and it shows off a range of Kinect-enabled Star Wars action set in Episodes I-III, including Force attacks, lightsaber action (naturally), podracing, fighter combat, and even Rancor stomping (whatever that is). EW's report even says that some form of voice-commands is enabled. Although the game's main Jedi Destiny mode encompasses Episodes I-III, players will get to visit locations from the original trilogy such as Bespin.
Kinect Star Wars also includes co-op play, but we likely won't have details on that until the start of E3.

That actually looks like a lot of fun! Any release date?
Meh, still not sold on the kinect.
Graphics look like Gamecube Quality -_-
Ever notice how in Kinect game advertising they ALWAYS show the person controlling the game? Because without that, the gameplay looks like trash. It's a good idea but it looks slow paced and glitchy. Not trying to be a downer, just calling what I see.
So it looks like that rather than create an interesting new Star Wars game with a new storyline, caharacters and etc they just rehashed a stuff from the movies and threw it into a game with Kinect as the gimmick.
So it's essentially a Star Wars party game. Lame.
I absolutely love this idea, I just hope the actual game looks MUCH better than it did in that teaser, because it looked like *** right there.
I'm liking all the news of solid-looking Kinect games from E3. Hopefully this system will have the third party support the Wii has failed to foster.
How the heck do you move the character forward, backward, left and right??? Lame.
Looks bad, controls pretty *** from the looks of it, and is based in the horrible prequel universe instead of the excellent original or extended universe. *** you Lucasarts, you should be ashamed.
Cool enough concept, but I saw it on g4 at e3 and it doesn't look so hot. Sorry guys, maybe next time we can play an awesome motion controller star wars game
