The lights are on
If any of these 60 new screenshots are any indication, Killer is Dead, the upcoming third-person shooter from Suda 51, looks like it will be a strange game.
If you're unfamiliar, Suda 51 is the and and mind behind games like Killer 7, No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw, and Shadows of the Damned. His games are always a little bit odd, and Killer is Dead looks to be no different.
You can check out some of the screens below, but if you want to see all of them, you will have to head here to our expanded gallery. Last time we received new assets for Killer is Dead, we received 40 new images. At this point, you should have a pretty good idea of what Killer is Dead is going to look like.
Killer is Dead is planned for release this year on PlayStation 3 and
Xbox 360. For more

This is gonna be awesome. Suda 51!
I'm gonna get No More Heroes in preparation for this
Tiger, bear, monsters...
Check, check, and check.
Really beautiful art style.
Just with the Suda 51 name tied to it: screams strange.
Suda 51 isn't creative anymore. He tries too hard now and it comes off as strained and messy.
This looks way better than a bag of dog poo
This my friends, is what gaming should be all about. I can't stand that too many games try to evoke a sense of realism, and in doing so they sacrifice the core principles of gaming. I do it because I want to escape from reality and go to worlds beyond my own, and do things I otherwise can't do physically.
Killer is Dead reminds me of an over the top anime...THAT YOU CAN PLAY!!!
Suda 51 has built an iron clad reputation making fantasies and over the top action games come to life on consoles.
Besides them, the team at Vanillaware also comes to mind. These two companies are pioneers in delivering games with vision, creativity, artistry, and grandeur.
If you haven't played Shadows of the Damned you're really missing out.
These screens are wonderful!
Just gimme a release date, Suda -- you don't have to show me anything more at this point.
