The lights are on
Nintendo has slowly turned me from skeptical about the upcoming 3DS game Kid Icarus: Uprising to pretty excited. The latest trailer continues that trend.
In addition to a whole bunch of story and dialogue samples, this lengthy video shows off how enemies you may recognize from Pit's NES adventure will be showing up in the game. If the eggplant wizard (pictured above) isn't enough to get your nostalgia steaming up, how about the fact that the game also adds a tempura wizard who deep fries Pit? Delicious!

The dialogue is so cheesily amazing! I for one cannot wait for this. And as long as I'm tempura and not an eggplant, I'm okay with this. I will probably be turned into eggplant anyway.
The action, graphics, and sound all look impressive, but the writing is definitely cheesy. Not necessarily a bad thing and seems to fit the tone of the game. Pit's swag-a-docious!
This game is the one to convince me to get a 3DS at last. I didn´t even play the first Kid Ikarus, but I remember playing the GameBoy one and remember the eggplant man turning me to an eggplant thing. Too much good games on all consoles and hand helds too little money :-(
Pandora looks just like Gastly lol. This game looks prettyyy sick, can't wait to grab a copy!
So far, the only bad thing i can say about the game is the script and the voice acting. What's up with the corny dialog?

i wanna get this game but i don't have a 3DS orz and i love the dialog in this! it's cheesy but the acting is good and i love the conversations pit and palutena have.
Considering all most 3ds owners know about him is that he was in smash brothers, im glad this trailer gives them an idea of what they re in for.

Pit is such a dork. I hope the gameplay translates, because I think I'm going to enjoy this game. The pure lunacy of the voice acting is making me smile.
It looks really impressive, but the controls look pretty iffy.
The "I'm Finished!" quips were hysterical! I wish I had a 3DS, because I'd be buying this without a doubt.
This looks suprisingly fun. Besides the weird banter and tempura.
At least the acting is not as bad as star fox =D
I'll be passing on this dumb looking game.
