You see, The game is, on one hand, a technical powerhouse with beautiful explosions and quite possibly the most expansive and diverse open world locations I've ever encountered. There is also the Grappeling Hook and parachute combo (Which is, in my next blog post, nominated for the best weapon that should be in every game ever). On the other hand, The voice acting is only slightly better than Raven Squad, which ranks only slightly higher than the original resident evil. Second on my list of grievences is the mediocre gunplay. Sure, you point and shoot, but there isn't really anything original in the gunplay and nothing feels "tight" as some would say. The driving is pretty good and the missions are varied but the story is not. With the exception of several ninjas and some other things, the plot waqs pretty preadictable and wasn't too interesting. "So there are all these problems" you say, "Why the h*ll did you give it a 9?". The reason is simple. The game is FUN. No other game I can think of lets you attatch a tank to an airplane, climb to several thousand feet, jump out and surf the wing while the plane crashes into a strip-club blimp. The ease of whichyou get around also helps with this "fun" factor and I often found myself jumping off cliffs just to skydive into an awesome parachute landing instead of doing missions. I want to keep this review relatively brief so I will end with this, This is a really fun game plagued with mediocre gunplay and absolutely terrible voice acting. While I did give it a 9, rent it or buy used so you could return it if you don't like it.
Head to Gameinformer.com for more information and a more detailed review
http://www.gameinformer.com/games/just_cause_2/b/xbox360/archive/2010/03/23/review-just-cause-2.aspx

Blog Post: Even with it's most flawed features I still thought it was a Roller coaster ride from start to finish!

I received Just Cause2 as a christmas present from my Secret Santa, with not much wanting to play it, I placed it briskly in my backlog "not wanting to insult the person who gifted it to me" ... So several months later I finally decided to pick this game up and give it a go. Long story short I'm addicted ..

Right off the basis this game is flawed in some of it's core concepts, but if you can overcome it's short falls than the rest of the game opens up like pandora's box, (and not in the bad day for all you non anarchists out there)

I'll start with the cons of this game because there really isn't a whole lot of them.

Gunplay: Was much to be desired, Not only was it a bit stiff, the enemies act like they've being hit by BB's so they end up twitching after losing a good gallon of there blood (i'm being serious too) I actually had to unload a full clip of ammo into a person cranium before they would stop doing spitting horribly racist accented remarks at me ... which brings me too

Voice acting/Sound: The game has great music blended into the action and non action scenes, end of story. Sadly the voice acting is HORRIBLE. If it's not the stereotyped accents the enemies, and you speak through the entire game. If you can somehow not mute your Television because an Asian man (who you save from been executed by a gambling organization) tells you constantly to "slow down holmes!" and They awe trying to kill me!" I mean this is the kind of voice acting I expect South park to have, but for a video game it just suleys your experiences with the Npc and non npc characters in the game.

Story: Short and sweet, you won't care one bit about the fate of the island of panua.

Pro's

Graphics: The gorgeous Visuals are eye candy to look at. Avalanche studious really did do a good job with the enviroment of the game. The island or Isles of Panau all differ in there land scapes. One island is a sierra like dessert that makes you thirsty just from looking at it, The swamps and marshlands are nice and varied through out the game , the forests are thick and the sound of tree's rustling and assorted animal sounds make it fun to explore, Large Mountain chains, and the beautifully designed ocean floor (best i've ever seen) Complete the experience. On that note Panau Is also one of the largest sandbox games I have ever seen. One of the biggest cities is about the size of Liberty City from Gta4. and it exists and a small island that's dwarfed by the size of the main island.

Controls: The controls are tight and responsive which is good because there is alot of need in this game for split second moves. Along with a Infinite amount of parachutes and a grappling hook movement around the world is fine tuned. you can move faster by grappling and then parachuting and repeating than any car you'll find in the game.

Entertainment/replay value: With a prototype like free roam after game completion you can easily squeeze alot more time out of Just Cause2. With colonels and bases to "take care of" along with supply caches to find you won't run out of options. There is also alot of "interesting" things you can do with the grappling hook which I won't spoil here.

Overall: Just cause2 is a great game with solid gameplay that totally covers up the faults of the game. I recommend to anyone who want's to beat the summer dry spout of games.

Blog Post: Improved Dramatically

The first Just Cause was buggy, and the missions were bland. When I heard about the second I prayed for a different experience. This was the answer to my prayers. Just to get things straight, this is not a GTA clone. Calling it that would be like calling chime a tetris clone. The graphics are beutiful, which makes blowing stuff up look epic. The voice acting is cheesy and exaggerated, and I love it. The explosions sound great. Gameplay is what helps this be a great game, but some weapons feel underpowered, and the good guns have hard-to-find ammo. Vehicles are varied. Nothing says awesome like hanging from a helicopter while going into a military base to kill a lot of baddies. Also, playing it with one of your favorite songs while narrating to yourelf to make a faux-action movie trailer is great. if you like heavy action and explosions (who doesn't?) then buy this game.

Blog Post: Just Cause 2 Review: Cause Your Own Fun

Over the course of the videogame industry's existance, developers have become more and more skilled at directing players through their experiences, with better narrative and use of narrative, and better tools for showing players what they should be doing, and where they need to go. In the early days of 3D games, it was common to get lost in the environment and have no clue where to go. When HUDs became more developed, and game makers learned how to show exactly where to go and what to do, the code for making more focused, elegant games was seemingly cracked.

And then we have the open-world genre, in which trying hard to focus the experience can work against it. In Just Cause 2, this is the biggest problem gamers will face. The game is at its best when players are fooling around with the weapons and vehicles at their disposal in the immense gaming environment that lies before them. However, the game also makes endless attempts to focus gamers on the story, through an equally immense number of main and side missions, which advance the plot. While, as I mentioned, methods at trying to get players to do what the developers want have worked positively for gaming in the past, in Just Cause 2 those attempts help to damage the game's fun factor. This is due not only to the fact that the story is ridiculously laughable or that the mission types are overused to the point of absurdity, but also simply due to the fact that in a game like Just Cause 2, a more focused direction is NOT the best way to go. The fact that too much focus is put on directing players through the story lessens the impact created by the bombastic, spontaneous fun that the game offers.

---------------------------------------------

AT A GLANCE:

WHAT IT IS: The chance to cause destruction across an enormous, beautiful island, in this open world action game featuring a terrible story, but massively fun stunts

WHAT YOU'LL LIKE: The size, diversity, and graphical beauty of Panau; the grappling hook and parachute combo; the amount of drivable vehicles

WHAT YOU WON'T LIKE: The stupid, unnecessary plot; incredibly annoying characters; repetitive mission design

------------------------------------------

It isn't exactly fair to say that Just Cause 2 shouldn't have a story or story missions at all. A stupid pretense for being on an island and shooting guys is better than no pretense at all. There's just too much dragging it on, pretending the player cares. Before every mission, even each side mission, there is a cutscene that has whoever you are working for at the moment explaining exactly why you are doing the mission. During main missions, you can't skip them, and they are much longer. It is hilarious that they went through the trouble of having as much voiced dialogue as they do, when in a case where the story is so insignificant, a text box would have been just fine. It really makes you feel (with pity) that the developers really expected players to care about this stupid story about US agents trying to take out the ruler of the fictional island of Panau.

The conundrum is that players actually could have cared about the story if it was executed well. The story is not only filled with innumerous spy clichés, but it slowly ramps up to the absurdity of an Austin Powers film, with you fighting ninja inside a giant dome shaped like the head of Panau's President. The voice acting for all of the characters is unbearable - they are unabashed stereotypes (which the game is filled with, by the way). Your main American buddy looks, speaks, and sounds the exact same as Zeke from Infamous, a character I thought was annoying enough in that game. Now, he calls you 'hombre' every time he sees you, which sends him over the edge of unbearable. The faction leaders speak in awful accents and also use hugely-repeated words like 'serdadu' and 'lah', which drove me nuts. Yes, we all get that he's some sort of Indian dude, stop using the same phrasing and words over and over in order to establish the character. I would almost say they did this on purpose to mock stereotypes in spy movies, except that at other times the developer wants you to take the story seriously, with a forced sense of drama that is at odds with the stupid humor present in most of the game. It's almost impossible to tell if the game is one of the worst offenders of cliché in games that I've ever seen, or if it's just badly-executed satire - Avalanche Studios was just so bad at making their intentions clear in the story design.

And to get all the other major negatives out of the way, when these annoying fools that call themselves faction leaders finally shut up and give you your mission, there's a good chance you've done it before. Not at first, of course - at the beginning everything feels fresh and awesome. For example, you may have to jump off a bridge and grapple on to an enemy vehicle and then hijack it and escape. Or maybe you need to head to the city and take out some guards by sniping from the top of a skyscraper. There is plenty of variety to the mission types, but the game, which gives you enormous amounts of everything, will end up giving you some major déjà vu after a while. A more odd point is that a random mission you chose to take might end up being disproportionately awesome. Another escort mission might be given to you at one location, but another might have you taking a plane to an exotic island to zip around several mysterious towers. You can't see what each mission will have you do until you've accepted it, so you never know if you'll get an exciting action set piece or another dud.

And speaking of repetition, you can take control of several locations across Panau, which is its own special mission type - and unlike the faction missions, which become repetitive over time, these takeover missions are immediately repetitive. You must keep a group of teammates alive as they infiltrate an enemy location and kill everyone. You almost always have to go and open a gate for them with a token button-press sequence, and then end up defending a teammate who has to hack the location's computers. It's fun that you get to blast through enemies, which is a given, but since no attempts were made to freshen these missions over time, they end up as boring as anything else. And the huge amount of racing challenges scattered across the map? As you might guess, they get boring pretty quickly, too. It's easy to see that the developers took the 'easy to develop, easy to replicate' approach, and multiplied everything it developed to an insane level. There are so many missions, so many side challenges, and several hundred locations to visit sounds like such an amazing draw ( and it is quite amazing to see the size of the map and when you learn you have gotten 15 vehicle parts out of 1000), but it all begins to feel a little more hollow when you realize how much of everything is copy and pasted. There may be parts of the game that are very high quality, but it feels at times like they tried to hard to push the quantity levels past the acceptable level.

It really should be noted that the game's size isn't just a negative. In fact, it's one of the biggest draws of the game. The island of Panau may just be the most packed open world game to date, with cities, villages, lush jungles, desert planes, snowy mountains, and plenty of islands to explore. Take a military jet and fly around the game world, and even weeks later, you'll probably still be amazed at the game's scale. The fact that the graphics manage to look so good despite the size of the world is also amazing. You can enter a jungle area, with the colors of the trees and flowers around you, mixed with the light coming through the trees realistically, and then fling yourself right out of there and across convincing bodies of water and nicely textured mountain ridges, without any major framerate drops or problems with texture loading. Some pop-up and the terrible character models are the only graphical hitchs, but Panau is still a sight to behold.

The game's greatest strength, in my opinion, is how the developers allow you to traverse those varied, good-looking environments. Your main form of transportation will likely be the combination of your trusty parachute and grappling hook. This duo allows you to shoot yourself instantly into the air no matter where you are, and then open your parachute for precision directional control. In the air, you can use your grappling hook further to fling yourself quickly across long stretches of land, or if your high enough you can lose the parachute and plummet quickly towards the ground. You have unlimited parachutes and grapple lines, so you can use this method as much as you want, and it's the most reasonable way to travel (you can cross treelines, rivers, and mountaintops with ease, something a car could never do). The greatest commendation I can give Avalanche Studios is that I usually chose this method of getting around, despite the fact that there is a huge drivable vehicle list available. It isn't that the vehicles aren't fun to use; planes are especially awesome, because you get the best view of the beautiful environments and you can jump off for some crazy stunts. It's just that they managed to make the grapple/parachute combo even more fun and efficient, something I would not have expected before playing the game.

The combat mechanics are a little shakier. Aiming is generally generous enough, but there is an annoying bobbing motion as you walk. Enemies take a little too many bullets before they die, and sometimes it's hard to know where the bullets are coming from. It's even harder to get out of a tough situation when enemies are shooting from all directions. Sometimes I tried to grapple far away to safety and id accidentally hook on to an enemy himself or an object even closer to my enemies. The jump function is unwieldy and hard to predict, and there also isn't a functioning cover system, which would have made a big difference. It's still fun to blast enemies away, but the shooting mechanics are worse here than more focused third person games like Uncharted or Gear of War. It isn't even as good as other open world games like Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Faction: Guerilla, which is a shame, because those games proved that shooting in an open-world shooter doesn't have to play second fiddle to the ability to explore open environments.

The grappling hook and parachute combo is pretty much the centerpiece of the Just Cause 2 experience. It embodies the sense of spontaneous, user-created moments that is the gameplay's strongest point. You can grapple to any surface, shoot while floating with the parachute, and grapple any items together. That means you can tie a helpless enemy to a speeding car or plane, hook a small car to a plane for an impromptu wrecking ball, or tie a gas tank to an enemy's leg and shoot it, sending the enemy into the air and then exploding both of them. You can jump from one vehicle to another with ease, which is pretty useful in stealing helicopters that are loading you with bullets. One simple click (and a pathetic button press sequence) later, and you've got miniguns and rockets at your disposal. The other weapons in the game are pretty much the standard gun and grenade types, with no surprises. You can use your weaponry to do the standard killing thing, but the game also encourages you to create manic destruction. The heavier firepower, like detachable turret guns, pack an amazing punch, and quickly destroy explosive objects and send enemies flying with satisfying ragdoll physics. You can blow up gas tanks, radio towers, water towers, and much more. Causing wanton destruction as players choose unlocks new missions to advance the story. This mechanic shows that it was at least in the minds of the developers that a big draw of their game was the player-directed moments, as do the weapon and vehicle parts you find when you explore locations, which upgrades your purchasable weaponry and vehicles. This progression system really makes you feel like the fun, crazy moments you create in the game add up to something; it's just too bad that the missions don't always feel like a sufficient payoff.

Creating your own fun by exploring and destroying, as well as the beautiful island nation, are the real reasons to buy Just Cause 2. One could say, "oh, it has so much content, so it's really worth anything you pay," but if you count up all the unique content in the game, you realize you get a lot less, and instead you are handed a giant throng of reused scenarios. The combat mechanics may not be the best, but its functional, and if anything else positive could be said about that, it makes the grappling hook/parachute controls seem even elegant by comparison than it already it. More than a year ago, I was startled to find myself in love with the grievously underrated Red Faction: Guerilla, which proved that an open world game is at its best when it lets the players have the most freedom. That's why I like those wacky, destruction-based open world games more than the more realistic types, like Grand Theft Auto. Just Cause 2 lived up to my expectations, despite being disappointing unpolished in several areas. If you don't mind repetition, don't mind not being able to complete a game, love beautiful, wide-open vistas, and love games that allow you to do crazy stunts, then you really should give Just Cause 2 a chance. It isn't the best in its class, and it makes some major mistakes in the story and mission areas, but it houses bombastic fun in spades.

File: Just Cause 2 Contest Winner

Want to see how someone made a cool $10,000 by playing a game? Despite some bugs ( although funny ) can be an annoyance, it isnt bad at all. I think it should have gotten maybe . 50 more, its a fair rating. I admit I get frustrated when constant waves of enemies are continuously coming and they never run out of ammo, but its good because of the generous spawn points. Overall, great game.

Blog Post: Look What My Hook Can Do

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that just about anyone and everyone has seen/ observed a sandbox game, let alone played one. This goes doubly for the GTA series. I'm also going to go out on a limb here and say ALL of us have played some form of a collect-a-thon. Welcome to the latest and greatest blending of the two! Just Cause 2 takes one part open world GTA , subtract the diversity and personality, add a ginormous map covering multiple forms of terrain, and throw in one heck of a fun multi-tool in your hook, and you have one addictive gaming experience.

Just Cause 2 is a great game, don't get me wrong, but I want to get the one thing that kept this game from a higher score out of the way first: this story blows. It is a complete throw away narrative of an agent named Rico with an even worse accent than Pacino's in Scarface working with multiple guerrilla groups and resistance factions to over through the reigning dictatorship of Panau. The End. Oscar worthy writing and plot, this is not. But if your like me, and sometimes need a game that let's you just unwind and create chaos in any way shape or form you can think of, then welcome to destruction Nirvana.

This is where you will loose yourself for dozens of hours, because this game doesn't just encourage a destructive streak from the player, it demands it on an Oppenheimer like level. You will become death, a destroyer of everything oppressive stemming from the government in this world. The game tasks you with a very simple but immense challenge; use any method of locomotion you can find (whether its airplanes, boats, helicopters, motorbikes, cars, trucks, or your trusty parachute and grappling hook combo) to go from village, town, city, and military base blowing up anything that has the red logo of the government. And if your a completionist like myself, be prepared for one hell of a long journey. There are 1000's of targets scattered amongst hundreds of locations for you to destroy, as well as over a thousand items to collect scattered around the island, from specific items of interest for the factions you help out to 100's of upgrade kits to use on your ever expanding arsenal of weapons and rides.

The game design is pitch perfect. Starting with the ease of having any weapon or vehicle available to you dropped off at the press of a button makes choosing your next course of action a snap. The pause menu map also does a nice job of showing you where every point of interest is , so your never lost wondering a map that by helicopter took me over 10 real time minutes to go from one end to another (mind you this means I could just go straight with no obstruction, so that's another indicator of just how large this game is). Although all the upgrade items are scattered all over the map, your hud has a handy signal locator that grows in strength every time your close to a collect-able.

Finally, I'd like to point out just how gorgeous I found this game. A lot of people get picky and start complaining about the lack of variety in character models, but I for one don't think I want to wait an extra year and 20 extra gigs of hardrive space just so the artists can make a diverse cast of villagers I have NO INTERACTION WITH WHATSOEVER. The models that are there are fluidly animated and go about their pointless existence, while the water effects are down right spectacular with fish swimming around in the ocean, physics that are a blast to play with, and scenery that looks awesome from near and far.

All in all, this game has been a great experience and one of the few games I've bought recently that was well worth the price.

Blog Post: AWSOME

AWSOME MUST BUY

Blog Post: ark0014's Just Cause 2 Review

ark0014 here,

After playing the demo, this game is OUTSTANDING! There ia ao much land to run around on and cause chaos. First off, where else can you jack a jet using a grappling hook, fly 10 miles, then bomb an entire oil refinery? In Panau, where this game is set. Its story is your basic "I'm a spy, Imma gonna blow stuff up and take down evil dude" scheme. But then come the ninjas. What the hell?!?!?! You're on a South-east Asia island when ninjas come in and try to kill you. What's up? The weirdest thing ever, yet fairly awesome. To gain missions, you blow stuff up, which gets repetitive. It's fun the first 3 missions, then you get bored. Just Cause 2 features a Black Market thing which plays out exactly like in Mercenaries. Well, yeah this game is kinda like Mercenaries, but with ninjas, and different setting. The bad things? Mainly just one thing, which i already said. The repetitive missions and stuff. This game could ethier be your favorite sandbox, or just another weekend blow through.

Blog Post: Extremely entertaining!

When I first decided to rent Just Cause 2, I was not expecting what I got. I popped in my disc and that's when my epic adventure began. This game impressed me so much, I just couldn't help myself but to loom it over my friends until they began to silence me before I even began talking to them. The basic storyline may not be all that unique, but the gameplay is fantastic and allows near never-ending fun on the gamers side. The countless soldiers that you slaughter along with thousands of vehicles that you are able to hi-jack or destroy may not appreciate this game much, but fortunately for us, it's not up to them.

This game keeps you fresh and on your toes with many different types of side missions and fun mini-games, but mostly with the massive free roam. The Island of Panau is massive and contains an extraordinarily large amount of enemy soldiers, innocent civilians, and even airplanes! I am still not bored from taking over a military fighter craft and using my grapple ability to attach an random person to my plane and flying away with them. Overall, the gameplay is exciting and the replay value is massive enough to last you a very long time.

Blog Post: Great Game, But I just ain't Feeling it.

Concept: Improve the first one by making the most gorgous game around.

Graphics: These are the best graphics i have ever seen the draw distance is amazing.

Sound:In my opinion the low point of the game, Enemies sound bland and the cheesy voices on characters make it worse.

Playability: Controls are okay, But in my opinion enemies take way to long to kill.

Entertainment: Missions were'nt that fun, But i had a blast running around in the open world.

Relplay:

High, Free Roam has endless fun

Blog Post: One word: Big

I used to think KOTOR was big. Then I played Elder Scrolls. I used to think Elder Scrolls was big. Then I played Fallout 3. I used to think Fallout 3 was big. Wow, was I wrong.

This game, as said, is 600 miles long! It has 349 locations, with no additional downloads! Ive only found 89! Fallout 3 is 2/3 that with all 5 downloads included! I havent done a single main mission. All ive done are faction missions and spent 18 hours on the game. Ive hardly made a dent in the Faction missions. There are 100 different types of vehicles including cars, motorcycles, airplanes, helicopters, and boats. Ive only found 62. There are 300 hidden objects all over the world. Ive only found 25! Putting that aside, graphics are outstanding, judging that the game is that big and contains so much. I liked the music. Entertainment never ends. The only flaws are the story, grapling control, and voice acting.

Oh, how I loath the voice acting. Not only do they say ridiculous stuff, but they say it in an accent! And with the controls, half the time I throw a grenade instead of grappling cus the control for it is so wackilly placed. The story, one person destroying an entire 3 islands (And not a "walk across in three minutes island, but an actual Maui-sized island!) alone, eh, not so real. Oh, and walking around pointing a gun has no affect on the people. Im like "get out of the car!" and theyre like "How do you do?" Other than this, great!

Blog Post: Wanna Play Just Cause 2, Why, Just Because

Just Cause 2 Induces Fun

While I did not play the first Just Cause, I do not have a benchmark to measure the game from the first title, I do however know good games and Just Cause 2 is one worth NOT trading in.

Just Cause 2 follows Rico Rodriguez as he works for "The Agency" to overthrow the radical leader on the island known as Panau. In order to unlock Agency missions, Rico must create Chaos by destroying anything that is marked with the islands military logo. Everything from crates, water towers, SAM sites, bunkers, towers, gas tanks, etc. can be destroyed giving you Chaos to unlock missions. On the island there are three factions that play a part of the story. Each faction has its own agenda but completing the faction missions is an easy way to earn Chaos and unlock Agency mission quicker. The factions have their own specific vehicles and the early mission usually involve storming a building complex or military base and taking over the facility.

The missions provide you with an opportunity to quickly explore the advantages of the mighty grappling hook Rico is equipped with, which is one of the highlights of this game.

Pros: Great Graphics, Sandbox style game, grappling hook mechanics, high replay value

Cons: Shooting mechanics need some getting used to, weak story line, voice overs subpar

In all JC2 is a game worth making room for on the shelf, just make sure you have a few hours to blow off because you become immersed in the game and quickly loose track of time.

I am still knee deep in the game and often have moments where I am breath taken as I pull the rip cord on my parachute and watch the explosions occur beneath me heels.

Oh, and don't fly over the northern most island without being prepared to swim.

Blog Post: A Latin GTA

Theres ALOT blowing up in the game and it reminds me of a latin version of GTA...its themed that way. The grappling hook is kinda ehh I don't know sometimes you can go 1000ft! But other times its 15ft. The story is really unrealistic, seriously I mean you don't ride in a car like a normal person for this one mission, the guy suggests you get on top! I died once and I am like no *** I died I am on top of a car! But hey maybe thats what makes it awesome!

Blog Post: Just Cause 2

Just Cause 2 is not my type of game by any means. I do not enjoy flying aircraft or frankly seeing a third person shooter at all. JC2 is different. First off the visuals are spectacular and when you blow something up it looks like a million-dollar Hollywood stunt gone right. Im not so crazy about the controls for weapons or for flying jets and helicopters etc.. but the game is so fun it doesn't hinder your experience at all. The difficulty was quite rough for me to be honest but couldn't tell you the last time i even picked up a Sandbox. Adjust the controls, Adjust your Hi-Def, and get comfortable. Just Cause 2 is a must have for ANY action gamer, even if it doesn't sound like you would enjoy it...

Blog Post: A Bulldozer with a Wrecking Ball Attached

Just Cause 2 is honestly beyond words. I spent the first hour reeking havoc around small towns and villages with more ease than if i was doing it myself in reality. This is an absolute must have game if you just want to have fun. The story is not much different from the first, take over an island, they betray you and so on and so on, but this is the only place where the game falters, everything else is just so over the top you'll be chomping at the bit to see what you can destroy or explore next.

The implementation of the parachute with the grapple arm and ability to teether objects or people together give the game an identity far from other sandbox games. Just Cause literately raises the bar for action with out making it gruesome. I love it. Remember the scene in True Lies or Die Hard 4 when Arnold or Bruce were on top of the F16/22 respectively, you can do that almost all the time and the payoff is so freakin sweet it'll have you coming back for more. The collection of vehicles and weapons are excellent and the cops take shots like the bad guys from Tomb Raider 3 not 1 so they'll go down in bit with just bullets, but hey just blow up the house behind them or teether them to a burning car and make it easier and way more visually appealing. This game is a definite must play and the trophies and/or achievement push you to doing off the wall stuff. So have a ball and set the world ablaze with this Red Faction/GTA:SA/Uncharted hybrid. Enjoy gamers!!

-Corkwon
