Along with lots of gameplay, the latest trailer for Injustice: Gods Among Us shows off Lex Luthor in all of his bald, purple mech suit wearing glory.

Injustice's release date was recently revealed. The game will be available on April 16 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.

That screenshot of Batman makes me think Netherrealm might be listening to fan feedback. I didn't like the way Batman looked before, particularly the silver on his cowl.

I'll probably pick this up for the Wii U instead of my PS3. Surprisingly after playing Tekken on the Wii U, fighting game controls work very well.

Superman's voice sounds odd in the trailer but it's good to see Luthor finally getting confirmed. Also the little Joker appearence at the end was cool as well.

Whoa! That trailer was incredible... Until the part where Joker doesn't sound like Mark Hamil, maybe.

I can't wait for this to release. The only game I'm anticipating more this year is Lego Marvel. Not sure why the roster doesn't reflect this, but Bane was also announced as a playable character. Even if it hasn't been made official yet, Aquaman, Shazam, Nighthawk, Doomsday, and Sinestro are all in the game as well. Although Batman and Green Lantern will be my go-to fighters, I'm excited to see who else ends up in the cast.

I just have to say, Lex Luthor sounds like he's got a case of Sean Connery voice at the end of his line. Of course that would be the one thing that stuck out to me the most from the trailer.
