Update: Warner Bros. has now announced the game's release month in 2013.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is now scheduled to come out in April of next year.

Original Story: As part of the Tokyo Game Show, NetherRealm Studios, the developer behind Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mortal Kombat, has some new screens and trailer to show off.

You won't see any new characters in this media, but you will see the Batcave, and a good bit of gameplay. The trailer focuses on Batman, which is smart because Batman is the best superhero. Science has proven this*.

Injustice is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U sometime next year.

Wow! Catwoman apparently dominates in Arkham City and Injustice. Can't wait for this to come out!!!

It's also nice to see the Wii U will be getting a piece of the action.

Boo. I'm so sick of Batman.

Hasn't NetherRealm showed off Bats and the Batcave LITERALLY EVERY OTHER TIME THEY SHOWED THE GAME? For eff's sake guys, show something NEW. Screw the Dark Knight. There are enough Batman fans in the world already. Who is this trailer for? I'm pretty sure Batman fans were convinced that this is awesome and brutal already.

And man, what a mean thumbnail on the video embed. I thought that, maybe, there was footage of a new character - the woman kneeing (the C RAP out of) Cyborg in the back there? Then I saw that scene in action; it's just the other Amazons from Themyscera for Wonder Woman's "Epic Move" or whatever they're calling it.

This game still looks awesome, I'm just saying - I REALLY have to see more at this point. New arenas, new fighters. I'm sick of the Batcave. It's literally in every trailer and piece of media so far!

I can understand that they're trying to update the look of the super-suits from spandex to something a little more tactical or protective, but with the metal armor on half of these guys it seems like they're trying too hard to copy Iron Man. The game looks great, like what DC Vs MK should have been. Hope to see more in the future.
