The lights are on
Microsoft is bringing 343 Industries’ twin-stick Halo shooter to Xbox One before the end of the year. The December release date was announced alongside a new trailer.
The top-down action title will be available on December 24 at the price of $14.99. Those that have already purchased the title on Windows Phone or Windows 8 will be able to get this new version for only $4.99.
The Xbox One version comes with the Operation Hydra expansion and a new co-op mode. An Xbox 360 version is still in the works, and that should be available in January 2014. You can read our review of the PC version here.

A Christmas Eve present to myself I see is in order!
No Christmas is complete without some Halo spirit! :3
Does anyone know if the co-op mode is coming to the PC and mobile version?
This game was fun for like an hour. It got very repetitive and didn't really feel like a halo game. It felt like a cheap off-brand of halo. I really wanted to like it, but the fun and atmosphere just wasn't there for me :/
Does anyone know if this game will have any Halos in it?
I miss the Halos.
Sucks that I have to wait longer for the 360 version, but oh well. I've heard good things, so hopefully the wait is worth it.
It's a shame that they're putting the Xbox One version first on the priority list. I guess this is to be expected though.
I got it on Windows Phone and very happy to see it coming to consoles. It works OK as a mobile game but definitely be a lot better as a cheap arcade console game. Definitely worth thr $5
Hmmmm....may have to check this out on my windows phone...
I'm holding off for the 360 version.
