New Trailer Highlights The Arbiter

A new trailer for Halo: The Master Chief collection ignores its namesake in favor our good friend and surprise protagonist, the Arbiter.

The trailer released in honor of RTX, the Rooster Teeth expo, which is happening over the course of the weekend. You can check out the trailer below which concentrates on Halo 2. The Master Chief Collection will include Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 all in one package for the Xbox One. For more on the game, head here for its E3 announcement and here for some screens comparing the original Halo 2 with the update.

  • There was a lot more announced, such as a mongoose with guns attatched to it, a silenced smg, and new map mechanics.

  • ...*keeps awkwardly waiting for PC port*
  • Oh boy oh boy oh boy! The Gungoose looks amazing! You guys can find all the announcements here:
  • To this day I was quite surprised how fond I became of Arbiter . .
  • I cant wait for the new interactive maps, and don't get me started on how much I want to use the Gungoose! and they even added the AR and Suppressed smg to the anniversary playlist too!

  • So what happened to him in Halo 4?
  • do you think this game will include ALL of the DLC?
  • now announce elites being fully playable in halo 5 (no reach bs) and i will buy a xbox one
  • I'm so ready for this! I can't wait to experience all of Halo all over again.

  • ... I think I'm more excited for this than I am Destiny...
  • Looks good should be fun to play with the boys

  • Hoping I can pick up the X1 before this comes out. Halo is a really fun franchise.

  • This game collection is gonna be great...

  • Uuuuuuuuh, I hate the stupid motion comic crap they try to push with all the terminals. They can't even stick with paintings, there are so many badly animated 3D sections that they wish you thought were paintings.

Motion comics are a pain to watch and they feel cheesy. It would be much cooler and more entertaining if it was a traditionally animated cinematic, or just a regular 3D one.

Anyway, I can't the flip wait for this collect' to release. I need to play Halo 1 online and I need to do it now!

  • I really hope they're setting this up for the Arbiter to play a large role in Halo 5 and Halo 6. I felt like he was really underutilized in Halo 2 and Halo 3. Hopefully they go into more detail about everything that happened with the Elites after the end of Halo 3. from what I understand, their society and world pretty much went to hell and splintered into numerous groups. The Arbiter being one of the few who advocated peace and alliance with humans.
  • i got chills

  • Fingers crossed it gets released on PC. (probably not, though. Microsoft REALLY wants to sell more Xbox One's)
  • Hey GI, you completely forgot to mention all the much cooler stuff that was in the new Halo Bulletin, like Coagulation being one of the remastered maps and new vehicles like the "gungoose" on said remastered maps.

Halo 2 with new vehicles, now I've got even more reason to buy it.

  • Only if Halo: Reach was included...
