Halo 4 - All the wrong Directions
on October 10, 2014 at 01:41 PM
Halo has drawn in a massive fanbase over the years, due to it's awesome campaigns and fast, fun multiplayer. Unfortunately, Halo 4 fails to deliver in either of these aspects. Things start off in an impressive fashion, however, when the Master Chief wakes up from cryosleep and has to fight his way...
Halo 4: The good the bad and the awesome or the multiplayer the campaign and OMG finally we get to be master chief again!
on January 28, 2014 at 07:00 PM
Halo 4 is a game that is very much contraversial among fans of the series. Some belittle it as a sellout of a game that betrays its roots as a story fueled fps, while others praise it for brilliant multiplayer, I am going to do a little of both. For one, the story is not halo standard. But take into...
After the Fact: Halo 4
on December 04, 2013 at 06:15 PM
Let me first say this: this review is in my opinion, not the opinion of anyone else. When Halo 4 was first announced, I was rather skeptical of the game. It was 343's first rodeo, and I was already missing Bungie's hand in Halo. However, as more and more information was released, I became more...
343 goes above and beyond with the beloved Halo series
on November 15, 2013 at 05:39 PM
I'll admit I'm fairly new to the Halo series, my first Halo game was Reach. But this makes me all the more qualified to write this review. Halo 4 compelling yet easy to follow campaign allowed me develop a passion for the series and its protagonist Master Chief. 343 Industries created a Halo...
Halo 4 #EmporiumScore
on July 21, 2013 at 02:17 AM
People were shocked when they first heard me say this, but it's 100% true: "Halo 4 has the best multiplayer of any shooter I have ever played!" I was worried about the switch from Bungie to 343, but now I believe that the Master Chief is in good hands. I've played every Call of Duty...
If your a Halo fan then you need to play this game!!!
on April 03, 2013 at 02:27 AM
I was never into the Halo series as much as a few of my other shooters, but after playing a bit of "Halo 4" I remembered how much fun it was!!! Did I mention it also one of the best 4 player split-screen games out there up there with "MW3" and the rest of the top ranking spilt-screen...
Better than Bungie's Halo
on February 26, 2013 at 07:07 AM
Halo 4 is easily one of the best games of 2012. It has innovative Post-release Support, Awesome Multiplayer, and a great Campaign! The Campaign actually makes the Master Chief "human" and shows a more personal side to him. Concept: Bring back Master Chief in a amazing and fairly innovative...
DownPlay Reviews #7 - Halo 4
on February 02, 2013 at 09:00 PM
So after five long years, it’s once again time to step into the gangrenous boots and strap on the dandruff-coated helmet of Master Chief. 12 years he’s been at this whole “saving the world” nonsense and he’s never even bothered to change. Must smell awful. Anyways, four years after concluding whatever...
343 Exceeds Expectations
on December 25, 2012 at 05:32 PM
I first got into the Halo Universe playing Halo 3 and Halo: Reach. I was always in favor of Bungie's efforts and work, but it's not surprise that I had less faith in 343 Industries when they were making Halo 4 and the rest of the new trilogy. I was pretty mind blown about the game when I first...
Master Chief is Back and (mostly) better than ever.
on December 20, 2012 at 04:34 AM
STORY: Immediately upon seeing that Master Chief would return in the beginning of the new trilogy, I was drop dead excited, and like many fans of the series, or just people who played the previous installments, was curious how they'd handle Chief's story along with Cortana's, and in a greater...
Probably the best in the series...
on December 17, 2012 at 09:23 PM
Everything from the campaign to multiplayer to forge mode is amazing. It's absolutely one of my favorite shooters of all time. Graphics are amazing. Audio is sublime. It captures all the fun and magic of the original Halo CE without ever tiring out. i don't miss the brutes or the flood (never...
Halo 4: Stands On Its Own
on December 10, 2012 at 09:55 PM
I am a huge Halo fan. I've been an avid Halo follower since 3, and I haven't slowed down since. For Halo 4, I (like so many other Halo fans) had reservations. For one, Bungie had left its mesmerizing series in the hands of a seasoned, yet inexperienced developer (343i). Also, Bungie had little...
Halo 4 - Once More Unto the Breach
on December 10, 2012 at 12:10 PM
Many gamers were nervous about 343 Industries taking the reins of the Halo franchise from Bungie. By making small improvements in several key areas, 343 has proven the beloved series is in good hands. Concept: Take control of the Halo universe, continuing the story of Master Chief while at the same time...
343 Did It.
ØFF THE WaLL
on November 22, 2012 at 08:48 AM
A little before the Cover Issue I was a little scared of what 343 could do that Bungie did so well. After the Cover Issue I was very excited, though most franchises that are handed down to a new group of people suffer tremendously. The people are too scared to change anything. 343, however nailed it...
343 proves it can take the wheel from Bungie.
on November 19, 2012 at 11:17 PM
Refreshing. Thats one way to describe Halo 4. Many people (like myself) felt that Bungie's departure from Halo was a terrible thing, but worry not 343industries shows that Halo is not dead. 343 improves on almost all fronts. First, the story. Halo 4 picks up 4 years and some change after Halo 3 and...
Pretty good, 343!
on November 16, 2012 at 10:08 PM
***POSSIBLE SPOILERS???*** Surprisingly enough, I half expected this game to tank- only because I was such a Bungie fan at the time. I then began to see the trailers, the sneak-peeks. I was dumb-founded.. speechless even. This game is gorgeous!! *Who doesn't like a good shooter every now and then...
Halo blew away my expectations
on November 13, 2012 at 09:26 PM
Halo 4 shattered my expectations on what I thought 343 was capable of. The campaign was riveting and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. As a long time Halo fan I can say that the ending made me emotional and shed a few manly tears. I wont spoil what happens but it was so well done...
Amazing! Its a Must Buy!
on November 13, 2012 at 06:22 PM
I was hesitant on buying this because it was being made by bungie but all those fears went out the door when I played it! The game still has the awesome Halo feel to it. The graphics are fantastic and the different gamemodes are so much fun! You can play the campaign with friends like always or you could...
Halo 4: The Return of The King of Shooters
on November 13, 2012 at 05:29 PM
It's been years since a legitimate Halo game came out in the series (ODST and Reach DO NOT COUNT AKJKLJFSFKLJ) and a lot changed. 343 has become the developer for Halo, other games have taken the mantle for being most popular shooters (Battlefield 3, Call of Duty [although it pains me to say that...
Master Chief Finally Thaws Himself Out in Halo 4
Brian Seavey (Noobtubin8er)
on November 13, 2012 at 01:13 PM
Last time we heard from Master Chief, he was about to take an extended nap in a cryo-freezer. Bungie had stated they had finished with the story of the infamous Spartan 117 and moving on to other games. With this in mind, I prepared myself for the concept that the story of Halo was over and I was satisfied...
