The lights are on
Guacamelee!, the Metroidvania like action-platformer starring a super powered Luchador, is making its way to next-gen consoles and Xbox 360 with a host of new features later this year. The new Super Turbo Championship Edition of the game will include an expanded story, new areas to explore, a new boss, new enemy types, multiple save slots and more.
Look for Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and PlayStation 4 later this year. Guacamelee joins Microsoft’s consoles as among the first indie games to be a part of Microsoft’s ID@Xbox program self-publishing platform for the Xbox One.
We loved the original Guacamelee with its tight platforming action and upbeat mariachi music. You can check out some of the new game features in the brief trailer below.

As much as I enjoyed this on the Vita, I don't think I can justify purchasing it again, unless it's free on PS Plus down the road. Either way it's great that more gamers will be able to enjoy such an awesome game.
I'm looking forward to playing this on the One. Didn't have a PS3 so I missed out last time. Glad they are putting in extra content for this edition.
This was indeed an awesome game for PS3. It would be nice if the new content came to PS3 but I doubt that is going to happen.
Cool, still haven't played this yet. Now I'm just gonna have to think about where I want to get it.
If it's not coming to the Vita, I'm not going to get it.
