The lights are on
Grid Autosport features five different racing disciplines: touring cars, endurance races, tuner, open wheel, and street. A new trailer for the game shows off street racing, as well as some of the title's supercars.
Street racing gives you a great sense of speed, but also danger. It demands a different kind of focus than, say, the game's endurance races.

Looks promising, though I'm a bit concerned regarding re-used assets. I finished GRID2's career mode (never got around to it) yesterday and I remember driving on at least 2 (maybe 3) of the tracks shown in this video. I also remember that Ford Focus. I hope there's enough new fresh material in this game to make it a different experience than playing GRID2 with a bunch of new cars.
I love Codemasters racing games, but I'm on to next-gen now. Hopefully they move on as well after this game.
Nice trailer, but I had to laugh at the "you know you can't afford to make a mistake" comment about street racing. This is GRID! Of course you can afford to make a mistake, that's what the rewind function is for!
I love that guys shirt! If anyone's wondering, it says, "Understeer: The front of the car hits the wall. Oversteer: The rear of the car hits the wall. Horsepower: How fast you hit the wall. Torque: How far the wall moves."
