GreedFall
Developer Spiders made their mark with cult titles like Mars: War Logs, its sequel, The Technomancer, and the Witcher-esque Bound By Flame. Their next title is GreedFall, an RPG with an old-timey colonial aesthetic and mysterious fantasy elements.
The teaser trailer gives us a brief look at a man hunting a non-human woman with a musket and flintlock pistol before being attacked by some sort of wild, or perhaps summoned, beast. The striking art style is a result of the team's inspiration: the Baroque art of 17th century Europe.
Greedfall is still a mysterious title. We don't know how combat will play out, but Spiders is promising that there will be multiple ways to tackle objectives, from combat and stealth to diplomacy and deception. Greedfall is currently targeting a 2018 release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
