A large part of horror is the unexpected, and what could be more unexpected than a procedurally generated world? Developer Broken Window Studios' Grave is just that kind of experience, and now it's coming to the PS4 in 2015.

The Kickstarted game is a part of the ID@Xbox indie program for the Xbox One, and it will also come out for the PC, Mac, and Linux. Broken Window says that the console games will come out simultaneously and be identical.

Grave drops players in a procedurally generated desert world where light is your one savior. Forage for supplies such as flares and weapons during the day and hunker down against enemy creatures during the night. But that's only part of the experience. As the trailer below aptly demonstrates, Grave's world is not only procedurally generated, but quite a surreal one – another feature that will keep you on edge.

The game also supports Oculus Rift (DK1 and 2) on the PC.
