The lights are on
Rockstar Games has released a few more screens from Grand Theft Auto V, and they show some of the more fun things you can do when you aren't pursuing a life of crime.
Whereas the last batch of screens was themed around transportation, these trio of shots showing parachuting, dirt biking, and tennis. Either that, or they show two getaways and a potential gang meeting about to take place.
Looking at Rockstar's screen gallery on its website, there are three more blank boxes, so it may be safe to assume that there are at least as many shots still to be unveiled. Hopefully soon.

Wow these screens look amazing. I hope the whole game looks this good!
Once again, the screens are gorgeous! Especially the parachuting one, with the light and shadows on the cliffs and the far reaching vista beyond. This is really jumping the gun, but I wonder if its possible that the announcement trailer was old alpha footage and the actual game is going for next-gen.
Anyway, back to reality, I like the focus Rockstar is putting on the leisurely activities, as I find that when I'm not undertaking a quest in an open world, I get eventually get bored of sight seeing and don't really use the expansive world and freedom. I'm not the kind of person that likes to dabble in crime, so often an open world just feels like an empty shell without quests. Red Dead was great with the gambling & hunting, and AC puts a constant focus on interacting with the world, and I'm happy to see GTAV putting a concerted effort in making down time exciting. :)
Looks good, but enough with the teasing. Three screens at a time is f****** ridiculous.
This looks amazing. Finally, this is the GTA i had in mind for this generation of consoles.
i can't wait for this game...
sounds like an official date is coming around the corner
Wow these screens are gorgeous. This game is looking to be extremely large. Very excited.
Looks sharp. I never did finish San Andreas, it was pretty damn long and part 4 felt uninteresting. Vice City was pretty slick, although I'm an 80's kid so yeah
I've completely lost hope of a 2012 release, but I'm still crossing my fingers that with the amount of screens they're dropping they'll actually begin to release info soon.
But these + the transportation ones... holy crap this game is gonna be massive. I just actually hope you can participate in these things, and they're not just stuff to see on the side (kinda like the skate park/golf course in GTA IV, but no one doing anything in them).
Can't wait to get this game.
Rockstar! Give me my game already!!!
From these screens the game looks great.
I can almost smell the perfection.
This game is going to be so awesome.
i believe they will bring back the ability to purchase worth having houses, wouldn't it be cool to totally upgrade your house and its own layout, i really believe this GTA to be a living, breathing entity of its own and it will be EPIC!!
