Not sure about the multiplayer. I have GTA IV (but haven't gotten to play Lost & Damned yet), and I thought it seemed like the multiplayer hadn't really caught on. The only part of it that appealed to me was doing an open party mode and messing over your friends.

The problem with GTA multiplayer is that it's one of those things where people actually have to know the rules of the game or it doesn't work. Also, the gun play is decent for single player, but not strong enough to design a skill-based multiplayer around.

they really need to bring all theses episodes together on multiplayer. Its too separated making it harder to find games to play without waiting for and eternity.
