This looks like a really good game. I hope that "everyday sedans" will be included in the car list. Nothing beats winning a race against a souped-up Camaro in a Buick Park Avenue. Say yes to bragging rights! I think that most of this game's strengths will probably lie in picking, outfiting, tuning, customizing, and maintaining an underdog car. The attention to specific detail is one feature that has always been present in previous GT games and I know that it's my favorite part of the series. GT has never been about driving the world's fastest car, it's been about driving EVERY car. The subtleties of handling differences, top speed vs. acceleration, and overall weight lag really add a whole new dimension to any racing game. I hope that this game does not disappoint in this regard. I guess I'll find out in a month or so when the game is more reasonably priced.

I got my GT5 console cover in the mail today, picking up the CE tomorrow, and will be driving the S*** out of this game until GT6.

Wow there are so many features, this game is a WORLD on its own, superb. GT5 is truly the God of Racing games, amazing. I ordered the Collectors edition. This game is a legend. I am so proud to have a PS3.

I'm a little worried about the damage. It sounds like it doesn't affect car handling. That's not very realistic.

I still can't believe this game is actually coming out this time. Honestly thought this would take till the end of the PS3 life cycle. but this is awesome news for PS3 racing fans, the best of the best is finally here.

so, no cockpit view in standard cars? and no xp or cash in special events or arcade? pardon noob questions, but this really wasn't on my radar, especially as i've barely played prologue. that said, this looks like an incredible deal for the money. real depth. now you've got my attention, polyphony!
