Amongst Microsoft's many Gamescom announcements hides a little mouse.

You can check out the gameplay trailer for Ghost of a Tale below, which features a highly detailed mouse, sneaking his way through underground caverns taking on enemies like giant rats and crabs. It recalls the darker anthropomorphic animal tales of The Secret of NIMH, or Brian Jacques' Redwall series of books, which featured anthropomorphic animals fighting and participating wars in a medieval setting.

The game is headed to PC and Xbox One in 2015.
