The lights are on
The latest trailer for Insomniac's Fuse sets up the story by giving you the perspective of the villains. They do have their own motivations. They're not evil for no good reason, after all.
Fuse is coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (a first for developer Insomniac games) on May 28.

...wow, even a generic "evil dude takes FUSE and becomes giant monster that will have to be defeated in a scripted" in the trailer?
Insomniac, why are you doing this to yourself?
This looks... Kinda boring. In a run around and shoot stuff mind numbing kind of way. and when i say mind numbing i mean brain dead.
That girl looks like Kerrigan in the final frames
I feel like Insomniac has been kept out of the loop or something in the past few years. The most recent couple of Ratchet games did poorly because not that many people cared for character platformers anymore, and now they're shifting towards gritty violence in a time when everyone is tired of it.
Yawwwwwn. I am sorry but I feel like this looks incredibly generic and way under Insomniac standards.
As much as I love the work Insomniac has done and continue to have faith in their games, this story trailer did little to excite me.
That said, I'm looking forward to this game and despite being a solo-run first kind of person, I think I'll be online with friends and strangers alike for my first playthrough.
Looks like insomniac uped their game on this one. Didn't really care for the last resistance.
Why does it seem that every comment on Fuse articles seems to be under the false impression that Insomniac are no longer affiliated with Sony in anyway? They are still making Sony games, but they are developing some multi-console games as well. Heck, since they announced this game as Overstrike, they announced and released a Ratchet and Clank game and are now heavily involved with the movie.
On the subject of Fuse itself, I hope EA is just marketing the game as dark and humorless, without actually changing the game. EA has been known to do both those things. Still, that association with EA remains so I'll have to wait until reviews come in before picking this game up,
