  • Recently I bought Forza 3, and I must say that it is quite enjoyable. As a fox body-style mustang fan, I was really pleased to see one introduced into a racing sim. that being said as a whole, the game is easy to pick up and provide hours of entertainment, is much more accessible to the average gamer, and yet still provides enough new features to keep us serious gamers entertained.

anybody else want to share their thoughts?

  • i agree nikoli. the game is very fun for the casual gamer and provides countless hours for the more seasoned veterans. i can safely say that i have put 30+ hours into this game and have only progressed 14% in the career. now thats a big game lol

  • It's certainly a fast, good looking game with a ton of tracks and cool cars. My issues with the game are the slender instruction book that's basically a hud description and list of credits, a white lap counter that often gets lost in the clouds, and I had a little trouble finding the turbo/supercharger options(look under aspiration conversion). That being said it is the best racing game I've played and the ability to purchase tunes and vinyls from some ala MCLA is awesome. This game has legs.

  • This game is absolutely amazing. I agree with Rod Wymer in saying that sometimes the lap counter sometimes fets lost, but I really want to hear everyone's opinion on the rewind system. I personally like it, but I only use it if it's the fault of the usually pretty good AI. What do you guys, the GI community, think about it?

  • I had mixed feelings about this game.  While i agree that it is one of the best racing games I've played in a long time, there were many points where i was left scratching my head.  First the level system really seems to hold no purpose. Second it seems like they're trying too hard to shove the new tracks down your throat,  De la sarthe seems to be part of every race series even when the cars you would use for the series are too slow to make it at all enjoyable.  Third there were lighting issues in some areas, in places like Road America turn markers were hidden in shadows.  Apart from these issues however the game is solid, controls are nice and the rewind feature takes away some of those "throw the controller across the room" moments you get during long races.

  • i prefer grid's  rewind system

  • i love fm3 it got me into sims however for some reason a while back all of my career stats (driver level etc) and cars in the garage vanished and i had to start over :( oh well i'm still really excited for fm4
