  • Blog Post: My Perspective on Final Fantasy XIII-2

I have been playing this game for about the past month, with the Japanese version of the game. My only other review for GI has also been for FF, the previous FFXIII. I recently passed XIII-2, so I thought I'd put in my two-bits on this game. Just quickly, overall this game is short. Much shorter... More
  • Blog Post: An emotional story and brings back traditional JRPG elements such as towns and NPC interaction.Brings back the FF magic.

In my opinion,Final Fantasy XIII-2(FFXIII-2) is a much better game than Final Fantasy XIII.FFXIII-2 brings back some of the more traditional JRPG style charm which was absent in FFXIII such as having towns and being able to talk to NPCs,as well as having environments that are more open and which can... • Blog Post: Just A Spoonful of Sugar

Another Final Fantasy game that continues off from Final Fantasy XIII. Now I know some of the continuation of the final fantasy games either soar or become eh its good but not good enough. Final Fantasy XIII-2 isn't bad some people just complain about the changes or miss the old series. Advice to... More
  • Blog Post: Simple facts

About FFXIII: I don't understand how some people can praise this game. It wasn't even a game, it was an interactive movie. Battle system? What battle system? All I did the whole game was hit the same button when it asked if I liked its chosen course of action (besides the first Barthandelus fight... More
  • Blog Post: Final Fantasy 13-2: Better Gameplay, More Fan Irks

For the last several console generations, Square Enix’s franchise of Final Fantasy has built itself into a household name with any classic titles and a dedicated fan base. Accompanying a huge downturn in the franchise’s credibility in recent years is its latest entry of Final Fantasy 13-2... More
  • Blog Post: A sequel... the no one's favorite installment.

I honestly don't know if this is a good 'game'. And by that, I mean that I truly don't know if it could stand alone. The average person off the street who plays video games once in awhile would probably *HATE* this game if they weren't already a die-hard FInal Fantasy devotee. It... More
  • Blog Post: An unnecessary yet enjoyable sequel to FFXIII-2

When I first heard Final Fantasy XIII was getting a sequel, I was immediately skeptical. I for one thought the ending of Final Fantasy XIII was great, and it didn't need any more story to stack on to it. After playing XIII-2, my opinion didn't change too much. Final Fantasy XIII-2 introduces... More
  • Blog Post: Not a necessary addition, but a welcome one.

Is it a bad game? No. Is it a bad Final Fantasy game? Still no. Time and time again I've heard people call this game trash just because it is "inferior" to past titles. It should come as no surprise to anyone that this game continues to be different to previous titles as Square Enix have... More
  • Blog Post: How to suicide a once-great franchise...

What you see before you is not a misprint -- and the only reason I don't give Final Fantasy XIII-2 , a game I was looking forward to for a solid year, a flat ZERO is that I do not have the capability within this website to award this piece-of-*** story and Motumu Toriyama the ultimate dishonor. When... More

  • Blog Post: Final Fantasy XIII-2 review

The original Final Fantasy XIII has its flaws, no doubt about that. However, XIII-2 fixes upon those in every way. When XIII first came out in 2010, it was a mixed bag in terms of reception. I personally liked the game and its characters and it lasted me a very good two months to finish out my sixth... More
  • Blog Post: One of my favorite final fantasy's

I just finished the game on my PS3. I have played it for nearly 80 hours and have finally gotten every trophy in it and i still want more! The game itself one one of the best Final Fantasy games that Square Enix has released he recently. I love the Final Fantasy games and Square Enix is one of my favorite... More
  • Blog Post: Great game but not the best

I like this game a bit better than XIII. I like the gameplay, the monster collection element, and the openness to explore and level-up. Eventhough it is not my favorite in the series, it is still pretty good More
  • Blog Post: Solid RPG

I feel like I have to write a review because of all the negative talk going around. This is sort of impulsive, so don't expect a fully though out review. I'm just going to cover some of the main components of the game. Final Fantasy XIII strayed a bit from the series, but it delivered a solid... More
  • Blog Post: Everything is there, just not how I would like it.

Playing final fantasy XIII-2 is like asking for an egg sunny side up but getting it Scrambled. Everything I want is there, its just presented in a more chaotic fashion than I wanted. It's a good game, don't get me wrong, and really fun to play, It just lacks in engaging story line and characters... More

  • Blog Post: Starting the Year Off With a Bang!

I feel like the Final Fantasy series has lost a lot of it's power with the fans over the past few years. To many, XIII was a major disappointment and after all the criticism it has received, Square Enix for the second time in FF history, has decided to release a sequel to it's numbered series... More
  • Blog Post: Not bad...not great...but not bad

Love people judging a game on a Demo over trying to play the full version. First of all. A demo is nothing but a Beta of the game. So the game is hard and some times impossible to complete the little bit of the game it has. Now the full version. Is rather enjoyable and yes a confusing story. Though through... More

I remember the days when i just couldn't wait to get the new Final Fantasy, everytime they came out with a new title (legit title not crystal chronicles BS). but after this game im not so sure i will be excited to see anymore FF games. • Blog Post: Really disappointed

I played the demo for only 10 seconds and that was enough for me to deleted it as fast as i could. It was actually the first time i played a Final Fantasy game and im sure it will be the last, i dont recommend this game to anybody, it is a huge waste of time and money. More
