    I will continue to update my screens as they come out as well.



    • The game features an optional hardcore mode, where the character needs to drink water, ammo has weight, and Stimpacks and Radaway aren't instance but take time to work.
    • The storyline is focused on the New California Republic vs. Caesar’s Legion vs. New Vegas residents.
    • The game is set in the Mojave wastelands. Vegas didn’t get hit by many nukes meaning that more buildings remain intact.There will be vegetation that is indigenous to the region, though in settled area's there may be other types of prewar plants..
    • You don’t play as a Vault Dweller, instead you are a courier that has been shot in the head and left for dead. A friendly robot saves you and takes you to a doctor, who is a supposed vault dweller from Vault 21.
    • You are given a Rorschach test and vigor test for your skill points and S.P.E.C.I.A.L.points, you will still be able to change them if you do not like them
    • The assault rifle in this one is a M-4, the starting weapon would seem to be a Browning Hi power(Thanks to spud740 for pointing that out) and is a 9mm.
    • There are special moves for melee weapons in VATS, one that is known is "FORE" for the golf club.
    • Followers can be managed through a context-sensitive menu, with orders like “follow,” “stay,” “attack,” and more. This gives you better control of followers and hopefully will let you be able to move characters if they ever get you stuck.
    • The Hoover Dam is in the game and supplying electricity to the city.
    • There is a quest to rescue a ghoul named "Raul" from "Tabitha", a super mutant that thinks its a "shes". The Raul then can become a companion,though only if you live though the resulting battle.
    • The Geckos are back, and would appear to be a enemy that you meet early on.
    • There are both dumb and intelligent super mutants, including the elite Nightkin, which are a blueish color from using stealth boys for a long time.
    • Some super mutants look similar to the ones in Fallout 3, while others are new. There is. a female super mutant with a 1950s hairstyle blond wig who is one of their leaders.
    • Some locations in screenshots so far are of a Trex holding a sign, satellite array complex, and a solar tower.
    • NCR base is the McCarran Airport, Caesar’s Legion is based in the Vegas Strip, while super mutants are based in a place called Black Mountain. There is also a town called Fremont and another called Primm. A topless revue is mentioned being in Primm.
    • NCR Ranger armor is similar to a brown combat armor with sleeves-like armor going partly down the arms. The old Combat Armor is still in the game.
    • Skills have a bigger effect on conversation choices – e.g. someone with a high Explosives skill may be able to have a conversation about explosives where appropriate.
    • There is a Reputation system in addition to Karma. And will be tied to towns and factions.
    • There is a screen of a NCR ranger, the helmet looks similar to that of the Helghast from Killzone.
    • The Brotherhood of Steal is back,but there will be very little of them.
    • They will be most likely west coast BOS.
    • You can modify weapons, they aren't supposed to have any negative effects for each mod.
    • You can use a orbital laser, apparently you can use it whenever you want if you take over the solar power plant.
    • You get a device that let's you use the Archimedes laser wherever you want to. Though it would seem to only work during the day. 
    • You can chose your age.
    • Fallout: New Vegas features a solar powered, mass destruction weapon, called ARCHIMEDES II.
    • The game offers a Hardcore mode, where you have to worry avout dehydration, weighted ammo and other nuisances.
    • NCR Rangers, packing heavy weaponry and sporting modified LAPD riot armor, are the new threat.
    • Your weapons can be modified and improved, so you can get more ammo, more fire power, and other improvements.
    • Your party can now be comprised of two or three additional members, and the first companion to be revealed is Raul the Ghoul, a mechanic that can do a lot more than fixing.
    • Character creation is virtually identical to Fallout 3, with cosmetic changes like the Gene Projector being replaced by ReflectionTM, "You're SPECIAL!" by Vit-o-Matic machine and GOAT by a psychological test
    • The local super mutants are pretty tough and will keep you from wandering aimlessly in the early portions of the game - they tend to be tougher even than deathclaws.
    • Every skill will have use in conversations at various points
    • Each firearm has a maximum of three modification slots. Once you affix a mod to a gun, it's permanent. Hunting Rifle modification examples given are scope, custom action and extended clip.
    •  Temporary followers, will also be controlled through the companion wheel
    •  "Skill magazines" you find in New Vegas will only temporarily boost your skills 
    •  The combat gameplay was tweaked to be more first-person-shootery
    • You can now have 2 to 3 followers at a time.
    • New rapid fire sniper rifle called the "All American"
    • The m16 appears to be in the game with a wood stock.
    • The m1 also appears to be in the game as well though it could be the varmint gun.

    • You can now aim down the site as well have different camera views in first and third person.
    • You can do slow-mo kill's i regular gameplay now.
    • There is specialty ammo to do more damage to different enemies.
    • New Vegas will have more than double the amount of weapons in Fallout 3.
    • There will be 3 types of gecko: normal, Fire, and Golden.
    • You will sometimes see a red shield appear around a enemy, this means that you should use a different weapon on that enemy to increase damage.
    • You can hunt gecko's for profit.
    • You can do quest's for the BOS to get into their training camp.

    • In Fallout: New Vegas, the ARCHIMEDES II solar generator/super-laser is a clean source of renewable mass destruction.
    • NCR Rangers are the roaming baddies of New Vegas. They wear modified LAPD riot gear as armor and pack some heavy fire power.
    • Raul the Ghoul is the first companion character revealed. With him in your party (which will now allow tow or three members) you’ll start to pick up clues that he’s more than just a simple mechanic.
    • Sawyer credits mods with inspiring the weapon modification system, which allows you to strap on DIY additions to your guns to increase damage, ammo capacity, accuracy, rate of fire and more.
