Turtle Rock Studios is continuing to roll out new information regarding its four-versus-one multiplayer game, Evolve. Today's update highlights Cabot, the final member of Evolve's support class – and he's bringing some game-changing weapons and abilities to the fight.

Turtle Rock says Cabot is the leader of the hunters, and the one responsible for leading their mission to save the final colonists of planet Shear from their problematic monster invasion. Like Evolve's other hunters, Cabot has three unique weapons and abilities, in addition to the cloaking field that all support class members are equipped with. Cabot's unique abilities are:

Rail Cannon: Projectiles from Cabot's powerful rail gun don't have a maximum range; they keep going until they hit an object, at which point they continue traveling for another 40 meters, doing half damage to anything they hit. This allows Cabot to shoot the monster or other creatures on planet Shear through canyon walls and buildings, as long as he knows where his targets will be.

Radioactive Dust Tagging: In order to help identify the aforementioned targets, this ability allows Cabot to call in an airstrike that blankets an area in radioactive dust. Anything caught in the radius is highlighted for the hunters.

Damage Amplifier: Cabot's beam device weakens a targeted enemy, allowing the other hunters to inflict twice the damage they normally would on it.

In addition to outlining his abilities, Turtle Rock also released gameplay video of Cabot, which you can see below.

Evolve is scheduled to release on February 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. To learn more about the game, check out our hands-on impressions and Test Chamber of the recent alpha, or click the banner below to see our month of bonus coverage from last year's cover story.
