Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl

Opening Movie Produced By Animation Studio Madhouse

Atlus has released the opening movie for Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl, which comes out on October 1 for Nintendo 3DS. The animated video, which runs at one minute and forty seconds, was created by the Japanese animation studio Madhouse, known for series like Death Note and Trigun.

The Millennium Girl is an updated version of the original Etrian Odyssey, featuring additional voice acting, animated cutscenes, redesigned dungeons, and a new story mode. The game will retain Etrian Odyssey IV’s casual mode.

  • I hope the story is good since other Etrian Odyssey games weren't very story heavy.
  • The first 30 seconds of music remind me of Drive. Also, this game looks cool.
  • Looks like another great JRPG for the 3DS. I know the PS3 is getting Tales and KH 1.5 HD in a bit but I seriously wish there was more.

  • October is such a great month for me! I finally get my hands on Pokemon X, Wind Waker HD, Sonic Lost World and EO: MG!!! I am totally loving this.

  • I really liked the idea of Etrian Oddysey, and the demo was fun. I just wasn't keen on the whole lack of main characters, and lack of story, and lack of... Well, progression. This will probably change my mind.

  • another jrpg for the 3ds. while vita is getting a ffx-hd

  • With so many good 3DS games coming out, I'm going to have to be careful which ones I buy. I can say with certainty that I'm getting this one.

  • So many great games on the 3DS, it hurts.

  • Why is Ghetsis in this game? Lol.

  • Man...Handheld side the 3DS is just hogging everything. Though really can't really whine when it is Sony's fault for not really as we say lack of a better term "Pimping" the Vita. If anything they aren't but really saying it is a highly expensive controller for the PS3 and soon to be PS4. To me...I can slightly see this game doing fine on the Vita as well as it does have the power. Yet....really...once again another JRPG that I have to miss out on as I am not going to shell out more money on a handheld for one game. Already did that with the Vita and it was for Persona 4 Golden and I. Do. Not. Regret. It. Still, great animations.

  • Looks pretty neat. I definitely plan to pick this up for my 3DS.

  • This is awesome. YAY.

  • I know I'm going to buy this, but dammit, my 3DS/DS JRPG backlog is already way too long.

    C'mon people!  ACTION GAMES PLEASE!

Konami and WayForward need to get together and get Contra 5 made. NOW.

  • Considering that I have yet to beat the Hidden dungeon in IV and I heard that this game can only have one save file at a time, again.... I think I might have to wait.
