Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight
The Grimoire Stone system is making a comeback in Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight, but with a drastic overhaul. Atlus released a new video today that describes what players can do with these useful items.
Grimoire Stones can be equipped by any party member. Once equipped, that character can use the skills attached to the stone. The possibilities are endless: give your tank a Grimoire Stone with a few healing spells. Equip a mage with some physical attack skills. The Grimoire Stones make the class system much more flexible.
Stones your party collects can also be traded for stronger ones. Additionally, players can "recycle" Grimoire Stones by giving unwanted ones to Regina the chef. Return after spending some time dungeon crawling, and she'll give you a brand new stone depending on how many you gave her.
