CCP Games' free-to-play first-person shooter for PlayStation 3, is edging closer to completion. Today, the company released some new screens, as well as information about a closed beta.

The new screens (below) are culled from Dust's Gamescom showing, and show off vehicles like the dropship and tanks. CCP also announced that on September 4, PlayStation Plus subscribers will release exclusive access to a closed beta of the game. CCP is pushing a new update to the game which features the first live integration of Dust 514/EVE Online cross-platform integration.

    My biggest concern about Dust is the gameplay. Can anyone tell me how it's shaping up?

    So we have the Dust game from last year's Summer of Arcade. This game and Dust: An Elysian Tail. Dust is now off limits as a game name for the next decade.

    Cant wait to get into the beta, great time to be a plus member :P Lets just hope that this game will deliver! and finally i can use all of my friends "money" on Eve to blow people up! Muahahha

    I'm really looking forward to this game, bur I don't believe that Dust will look like this rendered static pictures. Unfortunately.

    word on the street is this game needs lots of polish. this will be a free shooter that i can play with friends, if it actually turns out to be good that's just a bonus. i'm expecting this game to be poor, maybe i'll be surprised.
