Atlus announced today the hardcore dungeon crawler RPG Dungeon Travelers 2 is coming to North America for the PlayStation Vita both physically and digitally this summer. Dungeon Travelers 2 is a standalone sequel, so you don’t need to have played the first game to follow the second.

In the game you play as an adventurer named Fried who is trying to stop a monster uprising from wiping out humanity. You need to assemble a party from 16 girls to delve into the dungeons and fight monsters. When in the dungeon, sub-events can trigger that deepens Fried’s relationships with the girls which increases the chances for your favorite characters to appear in the menus.

All of the girls in your party begin as one of five base classes and they can then specialize into a sub-class that can even be further specialized again. An example provided is a magic user can specialize into a sorceress and further into a magical princess. Each subclass has its own skill set and corresponding outfit and armor so there is a lot of strategy in developing your party.

You can check out the not safe for work trailer above and see some screenshots in the gallery below. The game will be presented with English text and the original Japanese audio and is also PlayStation TV compatible.

If you live in Europe you are in luck – Dungeon Travelers 2 will be coming in Fall 2015 along with three other Atlus titles: Etrian Odyssey Untold 2, Etrian Mystery Dungeon, and Devil Survivor 2 according to an NIS America Europe's Facebook post.
