Capcom Showcases Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen's New Enemies

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen adds the new Bitterblack Isle area, additional skills, enemies, equipment, and a new Wizard class. The latest video from Capcom shows off some of the new enemies.

Capcom's Grega Man walks us through some of the new content, without spoiling all of the new stuff. Along with the simple showcase, he also offers a few hints on how best to destroy the new monsters.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen releases April 23 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

  • I really want this.. but I think I'm going to wait until it is very cheap before I buy it. I find it ridiculous that I can't buy the extra content separate from the original game when I already own the original. But I wonder if this will be "hard" like hard mode was (which was a complete disappointment and didn't really change anything for my level 70-something Mystic Knight).
  • A new wizard class?

This is the first I'm hearing of this or any new class at all.

  • The 23rd cannot get here fast enough!

  • This game looks really fun.  I need to play this.

  • I cannot wait. Loved the original.

  • I'm super pissed... I told the gamestop dude I was boycotting Capcom and DD when I traded it in after they announced this...

    I don't like that it isn't a available as a separate purchase..

The incentive for already owned players is ok... But, it still boils down to buying the game twice for some people...

I already deleted my saves awhile ago... Oh, well... I did play the *** out of it... And I never finished the Ur-Dragon...

But, I dunno if I wanna put myself through that grind again....  I got so many other games I haven't even touched yet.

  • So, do you need the main game to play this or is it a standalone deal or what?
