Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is an expanded version of the original game containing the new Bitterblack Isle area, and a plethora of new enemies ranging from the obscure Pyre Saurian to the gigantic Eliminator.

The expansion will release on April 23, and includes all of the content from the original Dragon’s Dogma game. Those with existing saves will be able to export their data over to Arisen.

    I need to replay this. My system froze and I lost my save file and never finished the game. I just have so many games in my backlog it's absurd (currently playing Ni no Kuni: WotWW, Skyrim, Far Cry 3 and trying to pick at my backlog when I can) I might just trade in my current copy of DD and pick this up since I have to start over anyway.

    that does actually look difficult. i'm glad my saves can carry over so i have at least a little advantage b/c of the level i'm at...

    I just finished playing Dragon's Dogma and I have decided to sell it, so I won't be playing this admittedly neat looking expansion. I just didn't think the game was THAT great. So, it looks like I'll have to pass on this one.

    I was going to go buy this game Friday but it looks like I will wait for this to release. It's almost becoming the norm to not buy the game on release day due to cheaper and better package deals coming along shortly after. Paying for being impatient it's what America does.

    So... this won't be available as DLC? That's the gist I get from the article. And if that's the case, that's super LAME! I don't want to buy the darn thing again.

    I wish this game had quicker way to travel. I'm not saying point in a map and have instant transportation, but have a horse or a carriage system. I really wanted to get into this game but after roughly 15 hours I found myself spending almost all my time running. I wouldnt complain if I didn't have down time but having a short amount of time to play games and such it really brought down the experience for me so I just shelved it indefinitely.

    Sweet it is like $40 is what I heard , which is cool since the base game alone is about that much still.

    Maybe I will be able to get this soon. Oh it comes out on April 23 rd that leaves me plenty of time.

    Looks pretty sweet. Need to finish the fist one. Well, I'm only about 5 or so hours in, I should just start over. Looks like I'll be finishing DD up and then onto this one later on.

    There is only one thing I dislike about Dragon Dogma, you cannot dodge in the game. Which mean you can only block if a fast attack coming from the enemy. It do take the spice out a little bit in the combat experience.

    oooops.. just bought this 2 weeks ago. Played about 4 hours and I just figured out I screwed up my pawn. I really need a magic user (have been unable to find healer pawns in the rift). Ugghh.. my pawn was level 19 fighter. Plus I am kinda overwhelmed with side quests and what to do. Feel like I am wandering around aimlessly. Really like the game though.
