dragon age 2
Better than the First
on July 27, 2014 at 03:53 AM
No, really. Let's take the unpopular opinion, shall we? I think the most effective way to do this is to compare Dragon Age 2 to its predecessor. And yeah, I'm sure many of you aren't gonna like this. Let's start with the common criticisms: 1.) Level Design: Critics complain that Bioware...
A medievil adventure like none I have played before
on September 17, 2011 at 08:32 PM
When I was at my local Blockbuster trying to rent Dead Island I came across the game that was (hopefully) going to hold me over until the copy was returned. Having the played the demo for this game I didn't really expect to enjoy it to much but to be honest as the game begin I was...intrigued. The...
A solid game overshadowed by it's predecessor.

When Dragon Age:Origins hit the store shelves, many gamers praised it for it's intuitive combat, intriguing story which was shaped by your race and origin (hence the subname), among many other things. Almost 2 years after that Dragon Age 2 hit the store shelves, and while it's still a solid game...
Dragon Age: A completely different game and story
on April 18, 2011 at 10:48 PM
A good game in its own right, the story in the sequel is sub par. The most disappointing thing in Dragon Age 2 is that it has nothing to do with the first. It is a completely different story. It really should not be considered dragon age 2. Dragon Age: Origins and the DLC that went with it left quite...
A Great Sequel
on April 09, 2011 at 01:39 AM
in my opinion dragon age: origins was one of the most epic games of 2009,and it seems like Bioware to give the public something that they never had in origins...a more in depth experience. Dragon Age 2 does just that, with a story that brings you more in depth with your Character as well as companions...
Dragon Age 2 - Game Review
on April 05, 2011 at 03:53 PM
The last couple of days, I've gone over what I consider the first 2 entries to the series, though I suppose Awakening could be seen as Dragon Age 1.5. There was a lot to like about the Origins games, and I will admit I was both excited and a bit concerned when I heard Dragon Age 2 would be coming...

This may have a lot to do with the fact that I did not let my inner fangirl pass any judgement on this game until I beat it but I loved it. Dragon Age 2, which would be more aptly named Dragon Age: Champion of Kirkwall, is not meant to be a direct continuation of Origins but a foundation for where the...
Dragon Age II, opening the door for the year of epic RPG's
on April 03, 2011 at 08:26 AM
What with Mass effect 3, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Hunted: Demons Forge, RAGE and Dead Island all coming out this annum, you could be forgiven for thinking that Dragon Age could be a footnote in this years line-up. Fortunately this is not so... I picked up the Signature Edition of the game which contained...
Dragon Age 2 in 4500 words or less... >_<
on April 02, 2011 at 12:57 AM
By the time I finished the introductory section of Dragon Age 2 (a.k.a. DA2), I was cursing Bioware's name for pulling a bait-and-switch. There's no denying that this instalment has a very different feel from Dragon Age: Origins (a.k.a. DAO). However I finally got through my rage-stroke, and...
A horrible sequel
on March 21, 2011 at 03:07 PM
As an avid fan of the original Dragon Age Origin i am conpletely ashamed to have bought and even played this game. i have beaten DA:O countless times i felt underly ashamed this game is as my have told a friend "this game is the body of a Dragon Age game with everything DA removed execpt story and...

Sloppy and Lazy
on March 15, 2011 at 10:48 PM
On its own Dragon Age II is a decent game. Next to its predecessor though, it is a shameful product. It is a slap in the face to the series and gamers in general. Its only redeeming qualities are the aspects it took from Dragon Age Origins and speeding up the combat. Dragon Age II has improved its graphics...
Dragon Age 2: The Beginning of the End
on March 09, 2011 at 12:01 AM
Well, I tried.. I tried to stay hyped about this game, needless to say I was still rewarded with disappointment. My original plan was to get the Ultimate Edition from Gamestop, I had it pre-ordered and everything. It wasn't until after I played the demo and the cold truth finally struck me, this...
