The lights are on
Although the recent Double Dragon: Neon was coated in a thick layer of 1980s nostalgia, Arc System Works is looking to one-up the retro feeling with the newly-announced Double Dragon IV.
The game, which will once again have Jimmy and Billy fighting hordes of bad guys in order to save perpetual damsel-in-distress Marian, uses graphics incredibly similar to those of the original Double Dragon games, both during in-game cutscenes and in gameplay. The game also looks to feature a combo system that lets players juggle opponents after the first hit they land. You can watch the first teaser trailer for the game below.

Pretty neat. Hope it plays as good as it looks.
I just play the old ones. They are still good fun.
Sign me up. Hopefully the story has some decent length to it.
Wow, this looks pretty good! Can't wait to check it out when it releases.
Sounds amazing.. ! Can't wait
Countless hours on this beast of a game back in the day. Had the propensity to be quite brutal on certain levels. Loved it!
-VIDEOGAME NINJA APPROVED-
This looks meh. I would have like a sequel to Neon above this (which was a good game, but too much of a parody of itself). I'd rather have a modern disc realease 3d fighter rather than some nostalgiaware download title.
I'm a little pissed that Xbox is getting snubbed
Seems Sony gets another point for their PS4, if this is console exclusive to then, I will get one soon.
Wow, was not expecting that. Especially that they threw away potential customers putting it only on PS4. Way to support the Switch, the guys who supported you back in the '80s.
Wow... that looks about exactly as how I remembered them from my original gameboy days. I am personally more of a Streets of Rage person my self and that artstyle is waaaaaayyyy too outdated. I can see this working better on Nitnendo's retro arcade deal.
I love retro, but not quite that much.
It looks like they're going for the fun one. You know, Double Dragon II.
Man that game was fun.
Oh man, that looks really interesting.
