The lights are on
Dishonored publisher Bethesda and developer Arkane Studios have been keeping a tight wrap on the game, but today we're treated with some new screens showing off some of the combat's flexibility.
Whether it's using a supernatural windblast flurry, dual-wielding with a grenade, or sniping with a one-handed crossbow, the game is promising different ways to attack your assassinations – including stealth options. Although you're certainly going to want to take on the Tallboys with more than a knife in your hand, that's for sure.
For more on Dishonored (out this year for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360), check out this trailer, take a look at all the new screens in the gallery below, and check out our Hub page on the game by clicking on the banner below.

This game is looking great! Easily in my top 5 games to get right now!
Oh wow. Those screenshots look really good.
The creative team behind this includes people who worked on System Shock, Deus Ex and Thief:Deadly Shadows, as well as the designer of City 17 in Half-Life 2 so if this follows in those footsteps it should be absolutely amazing. No set paths, no quick-time events, no restrictions on how you want to play it. Can't wait.
Certainly a game I'm keeping my eye on.
this looks awesome!!!!!! can't wait!!!
yep, its on my radar allright!
this is going to be beautiful!
Man, this looks so awesome!
This looks so awesome!
I really can't wait for this game to come out.
Bioshock inifinite was the ONLY game other than D3 I was looking forward too this/next year...GI's preview of Dishonored changed that. This is now at the top of my "please hurry and finish it so I can play" list.
