Atlus has announced that the follow-up to Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is on its way to North America. Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker will arrive on 3DS in early 2015.

This branch of the Shin Megami Tensei series features RPG elements and tactics gameplay. These elements are blended with the series staple demon fusion.

Devil Survivor 2 was originally released on the Nintendo DS in February 2012. The remake for 3DS includes improvements to voicing and dialog localization and content that extends the story.

The new material is available immediately from the menu, so those that played the entire game on DS don’t need to wade through the same content to get to the new stuff. You can see the improvements in the announcement video.

Record Breaker follows the first Devil Survivor, which was remade for 3DS as Devil Survivor: Overclocked. For more, check out our review of the original Devil Survivor.
