Learn About Augmentation In New Trailer

The path you take to your objectives in Deus Ex is determined by the cybernetic augmentations you choose. In this video, the development team explains the state of the world in the year 2027 and how these augmentations fit into the fiction.

In some cases, cybernetic enhancement can be helpful. But some people are opposed to the process, and others use it only for personal gain. From a gameplay perspective, that means players will be making choices about how to enhance their character, and those choices will change how they approach particular situations.

  • can't wait for this game
  • I just started playing the original this year....I realize just how much I've been missing.
  • I think this game looks great, however the previews I've read seem to be pretty negative. Guess we'll just wait and see.

  • I hope these choices in augmentation amount to way more than the augmentations and choices did in Crysis 2. Maybe thats a bad comaprison but thats the first one I think of. The persuasion choices probably says yes plus this looks to be shaping up to be far more intriguing.
  • this one could be a day one buy
  • Seems cool
  • very excited for for this installment of the Deus Ex franchise. This series would have to be my second favorite video game series with Metal Gear being on top. The freedom in the first game was fantastic, being able to either be a hacker, stealth, combat. choosing which augmentations you wanted to upgrade, exploration to find all sorts of items and Back story intel. Original game was far ahead of the times and was sadly overshadowed by Half Life 1.

  • still on the fence
  • man this just made me want the game. at first i was a bit sceptical because of negative reviews but this looks awesome
  • This is looking more and more like Blade Runner every trailer. Not a bad thing.

  • i actually havent played the previous games in the series so im on the fence with this game it looks awesome but it looks generic at the same time idk

  • Reminds me a lot of Ghost in the Shell.

  • Eidos Montreal and Eidos USA have Deus Ex: HR and Batman! Yes!

  • During and after E3 Deus Ex kind of lost my attention to Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Ghost Recon and a lot of other games that were that got demos. Now I'm am excited for this again :) Can't wait for August 23!

  • I am so so hoping for the best with this iteration of one of my favorite games of all time... but something tells me that hope is misplaced ;(
  • I think this going to be really good :)

  • I'm still not convinced that I will like this, but I'l keep my eyes open.

  • I'm really hoping that this game is going to kick ass, I would like my first taste of Deus Ex to be a good one.
  • I really want this game to be good. loved the first one but was disappointed with the sequel. it'd be good to see this series make a comeback.

  • Looks good, hope it turns out to be great.
